The food was outstanding and our server, Leslie was top notch. From the very beginning of our meal to the end, it was perfect. I was very pleasantly surprised at how delicious the filet mignon was. My husband loved the crab meat stuffed fish dish he ordered. The truffle Mac and Cheese side was fantastic and a very large serving. The key lime pie and the pistachio ice cream dessert was also delicious.

Quite possibly the worst experience I’ve ever had at a “$$$$” restaurant. First, I felt judged by my appearance, this was supported by our being placed at a fold out, plastic table with legs (that were nearly impossible to maneuver) at the end of their “porch”. The smell of a dumpster wafted over us occasionally. It would be, to my chagrin, the most “seasoned” experience of the dinner. They had a shop fan blowing directly onto the table which we found out, cooled your food down almost immediately… Or, the food came out lukewarm. Oh, the lobster bisque was good. But LOOK at that plate. Scuzzy. Use better dinnerware. We should’ve known that when the plates came out hotter than the food there was a problem. That is a bad sign. Not to mention how quickly the food came out. Another bad sign. The fish, which was the catch of the day, was not prepared well. My husband ordered his blackened, and I ordered mine with a lemon and caper sauce. I could not determine a difference between either. My husband’s fish was over cooked. The sweet potato mash was embarrassing. There was no flavor and they were cold. The potatoes, au gratin, which I adore, were terrible. Again, too light on seasonings, the potatoes were cut, too thick, and the sauce was too watery. Many decades ago, I can remember my grandparents taking me to a chain seafood (picture a red crustacean) restaurant . I would equivocate their food to this chain only with less flavor. The serving sizes are the hallmark of a restaurant that has to justify its prices by dishing out absurd amounts of mediocre food. Oh, and a ridiculous flower to make us feel fancy? We left most of our food at the table. No takeaways needed. All in all, I would say that they are preparing food for people who have underdeveloped palates. Also, no kid-friendly menu. Parents beware. I do not recommend.

What a hidden gem. From the street, it looks bad. However, from the moment you walk into the restaurant, wow. They don't do a lot of steak in the Keys. Search this place out if you want a fantastic steak with awesome seafood.

passed this place for years. we have had our favorite go to places and never got past them. this trip all were closed so we decided to try ziggie and mad dogs. unbelievably awesome! holy cow, the servings were huge, the meals so so fantastic, and our server ashley was truly the best ever! worth every dime! we were never rushed, even with the flow of customers coming, going and waiting. the drinks were healthy also! for sure our new favorite. sad we passed it for so long!

We stumbled upon this place last year and fell in love, I kept thinking about their lobster Mac and cheese !! Needless to say, the food is amazing and well worth the price. There are plenty of options anyone will enjoy. For starters we had Yuka balls, filled with a creamy cheese and fried to perfection. My fiancé got the ahi Tuna and I had the lobster Mac ! The service is professional and the environment is warming. Stop in !!

Absolutely scrumptious. The key lime pie was whipped perfection! lobster Mac and cheese and escargot were things I've never had before and it was delicious. Thank you chefs for your skills and thank you to our fantastic server for a Devine Dinner. Xoxo

Really surprised. White table cloth restaurant in the Keys. Excellent food and service. Super catch of day was snapper almandine with garlic onion rings. Others had bone in rib-eye which was really good. General Ben’s Medallions we’re recommended highly. Server was great. Really nice dining experience.

Our first time to Islamorada so picking places to eat was taking chances. Whether it's goods or services, I tend to depend on reviews. After searching several sites, every one put this as the #1 steakhouse. I'm glad we chose it. From being greeted at the door to all who took care of us, nothing but friendly professionals. I did the surf and turf with a Delmonico ribeye and lobster tail. Huge portion of amazing food. Highly recommend!! Leave room if you can for some key lime pie.
