Just moved to the area from California and was hoping to find a new go-to sushi establishment, and Yama Sushi did not disappoint! The menu is quite large, almost intimidating, but I look forward to many future visits to hopefully try a little bit of everything. The sushi was great, definitely fresh (which is the most important thing), and the staff was also very friendly and attentive too. Will definitely be going back.
We absolutely love this place. It’s the best sushi around and the staff are super friendly. It’s reasonably priced and unbelievably delicious. This is always my go to spot.
Yama Sushi is a family-owned and operated restaurant and it is a refreshing change from the chains! Delicious sushi and succulent meals prepared with pride. Awesome and friendly customer service. I have been coming to this location for over 12 years. Simple but top notch meat and seafood entrees coupled with world-class customer service from beginning to end! Upon entering the establishment, we were immediately greeted by a very friendly host. For dinner, I ordered Filet Mignon Hibachi and my wife ordered Chicken Hibachi. Both meals were prepared and cooked to perfection. We also had Water with No Ice and Lemon. Our server was extremely friendly and she and the owner made sure that we were attended to. The restaurant is kept clean and has very clean bathrooms. The restaurant gets very busy, so arrive early to enjoy without the crowd. They also prepare a huge amount of Take Out orders and have three Sushi Chefs on-hand preparing fabulous Sushi items. The restaurant also is in the Top 100 Asian Restaurants... You will not be disappointed!
We had an amazing dinner at Yama sushi the owner and the employees are extremely nice. we had 7 rolls of sushi, The presentation was outstanding and the best customer service we have had in a long time.the establishment is very clean and beautifully decorated. I recommend anyone who enjoys sushi to come to Yama sushi.
We were greeted by the owner at the door. Quickly seated and served menu. Order was taken briefly afterwards. We ordered sashimi set and several rolls. Fish and shrimp was fresh and delicious. I could see everyone working at the sushi kitchen take pride in their work and servers were professional. Highly recommended for sushi lovers.
Yama sushi service and quality of food is incredible. Staff is very professional and attentive. The chef is very creative with his plating and the serve time is very quick. My girlfriend and I eat a lot here and order boat loads of sushi. They are always timely and generous with portions. The hostess even stepped up to serve us when the other members of the staff were on break for lunch. Suki, a waitress does a outstanding job and the owner Tina and her family go above and beyond to make your experience here memorable. Feels like family. The restaurant is clean and well lit. They have sports and news on for those who like to watch tv. We will be coming back again very soon for more sushi and apps!
Absolutely amazing!!! Begining with the fried calamari, Miso soup and the rolls. The sauces and shrimp tempura was perfection. Every piece of sushi was perfect and fresh. The plates were esquisitely decorated. I love this place and will be back for more. Worth the drive from Washington DC. The staff and management team were delightful and made my husband feel at home.
BEST sushi place in the area. Amazing owners, great service, high quality ingredients! Highly recommend.
