Food was great. I never do bad reviews but this service was awful. Not many people were there but a handful though after lunch time. We were clear about a gluten allergy. We ordered sushi and I said no crunch. Some use it some do not. My daughter is highly allergic as we explained. Sushi is usually a safe bet. We were not checked on and had to call the waiter over after 20 min of him walking back and forth not even looking over. There was a sauce on my daughter’s sushi. I know it was soy which is gluten and has wheat in it and said don’t eat that. When we finally got him to come over, he took another 15-20 minutes for the role to be made again and I gave my daughter my credit card to pay and unfortunately she’s younger didn’t speak up but they did not take the roll off of our bill and charged us for the new one. I will add that she didn’t even eat or touch it . I feel since we mentioned our allergy right up front, and this is a fairly common one, they should at least know what a gluten allergy is, since they are a food establishment. We did tip the waiter, even though his service was not stellar it is not up to him to know all the allergens, even though we do know that he did ask. The food was good but we would not go again due to the allergy lack of knowledge. We certainly can’t be the first people to mention this.
My mom and I came here after a gentleman saw us standing outside contemplating whether or not we should come in. He stopped on his way in stating "If you're debating, it is very good and worth a try. I work right down the street and I love it." That made our decision, and boy was he right. My mom got the Thai Basil Chicken and I, the Chicken with Broccoli. The food was well flavored and the rice had the perfect texture. We are definitely going to stop again, I am so thankful for a stranger's suggestion.

I want to come back again and get the full experience of Yahao cuisine. I ordered from here a couple for delivery. I decided to come to the restaurant out of curiosity in order to get my meal. They have a very cool anime display at the front door. A very nice bar when you walk in with nice seating. Perfect for waiting for a table or a quick meetup with a friend. I was very impressed with the size of the restaurant and the quickness of the food. I posted a few pictures but hopefully soon I can add pictures of the meals that I order. In the meantime, they have his and hers bathrooms and a municipal parking lot down the road. This location is also near the LIRR. The sushi also looked really good. Make a trip over and enjoy.
Sushi was good and tasty. Slightly expensive for sushi but like I said the freshness and flavor made sense. The place wasn't really packed so my service was A1. I was the only person there tho. The server was pretty helpful in making me try another type of roll other than a rainbow roll, that they didn't have surprisingly. I really would give them a 4.5 not a 5 for the minor issues but we'll round up. This place is worth a visit if you're out here in the area I'd say.
We love the food and great service. New owners are super nice. We will definitely be back again.
Food is nasty. I ordered a poke bowl with cooked salmon, and guess what? I received cooked salmon skin. It was not even eatable. The spring roll I ordered tasted like the ones from Chinese supermarket that I can just sit fry myself. Beyond disappointed.
