We ate here on Friday afternoon in the summer. My tenderloin was very good and the fries were very good. I liked the house dressing on the salad. The atmosphere was okay and the waitress was very busy and all alone while trying to wait on too many tables. She was doing her best but it would have probably been better if she had some help. My wife loved her fries and the tartar sauce but the fish was not her favorite. My daughter had the breaded chicken sandwich but she was not a fan of all the breading and felt the chicken was a little overcooked. She liked everything else. Overall very good but it could have been a little better.

For us it was more like a 3.5 but we're planning on going back in again when the AC is fixed. It was our 6 month wedding anniversary so it was a special occasion. A friend recommended the Wooden Nickel. We were seated in the second dining room which was very busy and told the AC wasn't working, it was in the 90's that day. We got seated next to a party of 8 with young kids that were getting ready to leave near the hallway leading to the bar and restrooms. We asked for a different table one row up and the waiter said he couldnt because it wasn't his station. We decided to make the best of it. My husband's brisket was dry, only lightly smoked and chewy, he was disappointed as he loves good BBQ. My steak was great, a home run, it was cooked perfect, tender and generous portion. My husband ate a third of it. A second party of 8 got seated next to us, again also with kids. It was OK but I was hoping for a romantic dinner experience and this was not it. With the AC being out and a fan was running and we think it was blowing hair around as there was a hair in my salad and one in my husband's French fries. We paid with a debit card and there was a charge for that tacked on to the bill. When we go back we will probably both order the steak and on a night with AC.

We visited on 3/26/23 as our first time. The service from rae (pronounced like ray) was very good. I recommend her.I ordered the tour of Italy. My girlfriend had the tortellini and we also had bread sticks. The food was amazing. Fresh bread sticks and homemade breading for the chicken Parm. I highly recommend stopping here and eating. I will be back when I come back through town. Thank you for the great food and service!

My fiancé took me there for my birthday dinner and it was the best BBQ sandwich I've had in a long time. I will definitely be going back to try the other options they have available. Plus our server was so polite, courteous, informative, and patient with us that it just made our whole experience 100x better. Thank you so much!!! 🥰

We had the best food tonight! The Chicken Kreps left me craving more, even though it was so big I could only eat half of it. My husband said the BBQ beef sandwich was a little dry; I took a bite of one of his fries and didn't like it. I'd still give it five stars for the food and service.

I gave two stars one for the wait staff and the cooks. We had a big group. The food was good and Autumn our waitress was a rockstar ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. However, our whole party couldn’t sit together in the “banquet area”…the area you pay a fee to reserve for large groups. The carpets were nasty and stuck to your shoes, it was dark, and the bathrooms were gross. With a little time, energy, and elbow grease I think it would help spruce it up. I’ve also never met a place fight so hard on table placement and decorations. Lastly the banquet manager is just SO GROUCHY. All in all not bad but, I would recommend going somewhere else.

The food and service were excellent. The portions were large. The prime rib sandwich looked like it had an entire prime rib on it. Sandwiches came with salad, garlic stick, and a side. There is an option for an all you can eat salad, too.

I love this restaurant and visit it almost weekly. My partner and I spend almost $100 every time we dine there. However this last time we were there we were made to feel like we had to leave. The short blonde with the pony tail made it clear she did. Not want us there. They were very busy but we were happy to wait but she basically made us feel like she didn’t want anymore people to serve. Honestly it hurt my feelings. I always look forward to eating there but that made me feel like I am not appreciated.
