First time at Whitey's. First taste of bluegill as well. I ordered it pan fried and it was delicious. Nice, light breading and not greasy. French fries were hot and crispy as they should be. The bartender was spot on with my filthy martini and it came with luscious blue cheese stuffed olives. Hubby is gluten free and had the cod blackened and the sweet potato casserole which he said was very good. It was a nice, non-chain stop on the way up north!

Oh my goodness the fish here is delicious, both the blackened broiled and blackened baked are out if sight but if i were to choose one go for the blackened baked with sweet butter it melts in your mouth. The waitress was very friendly and salad bar was good too. My husband got the Captains choice and it was a big delicious meal and took half of it home.

First time at Whitey's, and I'm impressed. I got the Captains Combo, which is fich, shrimp, scallop, and clam strips. I you order this be prepared for LOTS of clam strips, my one complaint, for the price I would rather have an extra shrimp or scallop instead of a pile of clam strips. The food was fast and taste was on point. The fries are battered which is amazing. Atmosphere is charming. Prices are fair and comparable to other seafood places. Restaurant was clean and tidy. I'll be back.

Great Catfish fingers and Cod! I only rated it a 4 because I got the seafood platter which tasted good but they only put 2 shrimps and 2 scallops along with the 2 pieces of Cod & lots of clam strips. I felt like they were stingy with given me only 2 shrimp and 2 scallops because it's called a "seafood platter". Salad bar was included when you dine-in, but No Soup after 3pm on the Soup & Salad bar.

My first time going August 10, 22. I ordered the 2 piece fish dinner that came with fries and salad bar. The fish was lightly coated with batter and weren't greasy at all, good fries. Nice selection of items at the salad bar. Our waitress was very good, checked back often on us. Staff was very friendly. Nautical theme inside. My friend ordered the fish sandwich it also came with 2 pieces of fish in it with a branded bun. I took half my meal home, hubby ate it as soon as I got in lol

Delicious food! Everything was cooked to perfection. The place was busy when we went. I heard the table next to us ask how much longer on meals, turns out there was only two cooks in the kitchen that night! Which made it even more impressive how well everything was cooked and how quickly it was served for the circumstances. I appreciated that they include the salad bar with your meal. We will return and and we have already recommended others to try this place.

Family favorite for this area. Best salad bar you're gonna get and it comes with most dinners. It can get a bit crowded for dine in at certain times and they have a drive up to go window if that's your thing. Staff are always nice. Prices can be a bit high.

It's very loud usually and cool inside. The food can be really good, or really awful lol. The crab legs are a hit or miss also. The salad bar is ok. Sometimes it's also fresh and good and other times not so much. And they only offer soup sometimes on the salad bar which is not smart. Lots of room for improvement. I don't like the tarter sauce from here either. I don't know it tastes different to me.
