This is usually a pretty solid spot, but today they were WAY OFF THE MARK on quality and customer service. I waited behind only 1 car in the drive thru and it was nearly 10 mins before it was my turn to place the order. When I pulled up to the speaker the lady just said: “what do you want to order?” When I pulled around to the window no one said Hi, they just told me the charge and gestured for my card and gave me my drink and then my meal a few mins later. I ordered a Dave’s Double Cheeseburger and Fries combo and turns out they sent me home with a single-patty cheeseburger, even though I paid for the double, and the fries were not even close to done - they were white, bendy, and lukewarm 👎 and I only live approx 5 miles from this location. Sure hope they do better next time🙏
Seriously, this is the best Wendy's I have ever been to. I don't know why the food would be better here than another Wendy's joint, but it really is. Real nice people that work here too. Thank you folks for making the food delicious.
They are always out of something like cheese Sauce or Baked potatoes I have lived in this town for 3 years now out of like 15 orders only 1 has been good Or even close to other Wendy standards. And I used to work at a Wendy. Managers need to do a better job ordering and supplying. Last time staff were extremely rude. To a lady with speech impediment at the pay window. It broke my heart for her. I really think corporate needs to come in and do a review of this store
Female person behind counter very rude seem upset that I spoke to her. Oh yeah, she was suppose to be working. Mario was great and kind and very helpful. Always like seeing Mario he is the best. Need more employees like him (Mario).
The place can be a little bit dirty, with sticky floors, etc. I have just always enjoyed Wendy's, so the food is alright. Of course, sometimes they forgot something in my order, but accidents happen.
Me and my husband are there today for lunch. We came all the way from Hillsville Virginia to eat there cause I had a doctor's appointment earlier today Well the employee that took my order, wasn't friendly at all. The service was awful. We ordered 2 of the Bacon Double stacked cheese burgers big bag lunch My husband wanted his plain with only bacon, cheese and mustard and ketchup on it I wanted everything that came on it, just No ketchup and Add Mayonnaise. I told that man that was running the cashier that I wanted to up sized both of them to a large, that boy said well there not going to be $6.00 dollars no more. Well that was fine. They charged us $17.00 dollars for those meals. Well then I stood at the counter for 15 minutes waiting on our food. Then I finally asked that guy if they forgot about our order. We finally got our food. They didn't say that they were sorry or anything. It was the worst Wendy's experience that we have ever had. When we finally sat down and after we prayed over our food. My husband opened his hamburger up and it didn't have no ketchup or mustard on it. He had to go back to asked for packs of ketchup and mustard. His hamburger wasn't even done. On my hamburger they only had mayonnaise and cheese and bacon on it. The bacon wasn't fresh it tasted old. The chicken nuggets were hard and they tasted like soap. The French fries tasted like soap. It was nasty. They didn't give us a receipt either. so we threw out food away. I'm not eating nothing that tastes like soap. We will not never eat at this Wendy's never again. They were other people that walked out of there today and didn't even order. I wished that I told them to cancel my order and we would have went somewhere else. I think that these restaurants really needs to take time in training there employees. I'm not saying that we won't never eat at a Wendy's again Cause we love Wendy's We just won't never eat at this Wendy's. The employees just wasn't friendly at all. Everyone on night shift seems so unhappy to be there. Not very friendly in drive thru. Most of the time they don't even speak. Just throw you food at you and out you go. Twice I've been there and they shove the drinks at you and both times they've spilled on me and in my car.
Wendys in Pearisburg doesn't honor any promotional discounts unless you specifically mentioned them when ordering. So even though, the sign in front of the store says Dave's single are 2 for $6....everyone is paying full price unless you tell them you want the 2 for $6 deal. Manager was rude when questioned! Finally just returned my entire order for a full refund and went to McDonald's...where I received excellent service!!! Wendy's is frauding there customers into paying full price!
