Calimari was best ever! I am a fan and many do not do right. They know and make perfect! Angry dragon roll was my main and beautiful. Great service with cool decor.

I’ve been coming to wasabi for years. Often get the Marilyn Monroll. Tonight I had it again but it was different. Similar to all of the sushi places, they started filling the roll with fried crumbs. I’m sure it helps with how much fish they need to use but it’s so disappointing. Wasabis rolls used to be high quality but after seeing how they make their Marilyn roll now, I’m probably never gonna get sushi from here again. I get it, times are tough, but the sushi used to be “sushi”. If I wanted fried tempura in my rolls, I would order that. Unfortunately sushi places use tempura as fillers in all of their rolls now. What a shame.

First time. The service was amazing. I can't remember the name of your server but she was amazing 😁. Let us pick out appetizers, first and the grilled brussel sprouts were amazing. Then order our food. I got Fuji Yama. Sushi 🍣. It was so freaking fresh!!! No over barring fish smell or taste light crispy and good!!. My wife ordered wonton ramen 🍜. Ok not a big ramen fan. She had me try it, me thinking it was going to be over salty and very low flavored. Nope!!! It was the opposite it was sweet, tasty, and sour with a hint of buttery Japanese sauce. I couldn't stop myself from ordering more. So in the end, if I could give more Stars I would

My husband and I live down the street and eat at Wasabi Chi regularly. We have done take out and dined in. Service is always timely and everyone has been friendly. When we do take out the food is always ready on-time and fresh. Dining it, we’ve been served quickly and the servers are friendly. The food is top notch for the area. We’ve probably had about half the menu at this point (no exaggeration) and have never had a bad meal. I enjoy their sushi, squid salad, miso soup, fried rice and Lo Mein the most. Definitely worth the stop!

To me five stars isn't enough if I could give this place 20 stars I would best sushi best Asian cuisine in town by far hands down nice to staff clean restaurant relatively decent price highly recommended that you visit the establishment Good food good people good times

Got takeout sushi from here. $22 for a specialty roll and some salmon nigiri. Good quality, decent price.

Really enjoyed my birthday dinner here. Got a free dessert. Food are very tasty, service is on the top! Will come back!

My wife had Sushi and Sashimi and was really impressed with the fish quality. The appetizer was great and my meal was good. Only complaint would be a lack of size, but the dish I ordered isn't normally spicy. Would have been awesome if there was some red chili sauce/paste on the table, but finding this spot in Des Moines was a nice surprise.
