A beautiful restaurant and bar. Nice atmosphere, really liked the color schemes. I'm tired of battery operated flames, and was impressed by their hurricane candles. We both ordered from the prix fixe menu, and both meals were plentiful portions of quality food.

Old world atmosphere, we were greeted and ushered to the table by the owner to a cozy, warm, inviting room with fresh flowers all around and heavy, sturdy furniture. It was busy, but at no time was it too loud for us to speak to one another. The food was delicious , plentiful, and well priced with lots of choices. The wait/ bus staff was pleasant and very good at their jobs ... we will be back

Great place to have lunch or grab a cocktail. The pre-fix menu has a decent selection and good value for the money. Our waitress was friendly. The service about average. It's a nice place to catch up with friends or date night. Was fairly crowded for lunch. Get there early.

Always a great meal at the Wantagh inn. Everyone treats you like family. Good food, good laughs, at a great price.

A quaint little Irish Tavern that has always been a staple for my family's large get togethers. The staff are always very accommodating and friendly. It has a very homey feel to it, and the meals always remind me of a dinner that mom would make for us, while still being affordable to boot. The portions are just right along with plenty of options to choose from (I highly recommend the price fixed menus they do for lunch if you get the chance). I've also had their shepherd's pie and the giant salted pretzel for an appetizer which were delicious. Parking in the back can be tight and the place is rather popular, but it is honestly worth the extra walk if you wind up parking on the side streets or the nearby train station lot.

We are very grateful to the Wantagh Inn. We wanted to schedule a luncheon after a funeral service on short notice and the funeral home recommended the Wantagh Inn. I called and Maureen was extremely helpful in setting everything up for us which relieved us a lot of stress. At the luncheon, the food and service was terrific. Several of our guests who live on Long Island liked it so much, they planned to go back.

Wow - the food has been amazing. We have recently been going here during lunch. The lunch specials are top notch, food quality is excellent and price is fair. (Although it was lunch time we tested the beer tap - also very good). Staff is friendly, and the space very clean. Try the new outdoor space they recently added. also, parking in the back. COVID restrictions: No problem. everyone wearing masks and proper social distancing.

Amazing food, great service too! Love the baked clams, shepherds pie, chicken pot pie when they have it- always packed! Make a reservation if you can!
