Hit the spot. I had the curry beef stew with the beef patty and teriyaki beef, malasadas, and fries. Curry beef chunks were tasty and tender, beef patty was also tasty and tender overall the meat and everything was really good. Really glad I came here! Service was great, order was ready for pick up. Busy area, there is a parking lot inside the block and then a short walk if you can’t find parking up front. (Photos are taken half eaten I was so hungry lol)

I can’t speak for every dish they serve but do not order the volcano chicken it does not live up to its name at all it WASN’T SPICY AND had WAY TOO MUCH SUGAR in it I couldn’t even finish my meal because it was disgustingly sweet I could barely taste the chili flavor or any spice at all. I want my 15$ I spent back because that was terrible you cannot honestly call that volcano chicken I feel a little sick after eating it because of how much sugar was in that sauce it was nauseating.

The service is horrendous. The Asian owner is a complete a hole, super rude, not welcoming, won't spend a dime of my hard earned money at this place. Not deserving, learn some respect, service skills and manners and maybe ill.come back.

We got take out kalua pork. It was quite salty, but very flavorful. The rice it came with was decent. We ordered it without the macaroni salad, so I can't comment on that. We did get it with cabbage, though because that is off menu it was difficult to order. I wish they had more vegetables on the menu to combine with the meat and rice. Overall the place felt very authentic. Good quality food for the price. If it had been 20 degrees warmer outside with chickens running everywhere I would have thought I was back on Kauai.

Ordered chicken katsu to go. The teaspoon of macaroni salad was warm. 2 little teaspoons of rice and breaded chicken strips. Was place in this new small clear plastic container. I believe it was bit pricey for this meal. 15$. The breakfast with rice and eggs and spam much cheaper, but smaller portions. Food orders were to go- per sign in the window. There are some chairs and tables. No Foot Traffic.

Horrible customer service. The older male individual at the counter has no manners and no respect for his patrons. Too short a fuse. It’s too bad really, but I’ll drive to Pinole for L&L going forward.

Bomb food. Great place to get some Hawaiian eats on the mainland. Loco Moco was Ono and so was the mac salad.

Great food! Friendly staff. Clean kitchen and clean dining area and restrooms
