This food used to be really good and worth it. Idk what they changed but the quality and presentation of the food is not the same. This cabbage tasted burnt and over cooked. Yams are quite plain. The cabbage does not seem like it is fresh at all. Seems like it had been made and just reheated. The cornbread is mid. Everything is going down hill. I tried to give it another chance after noticing things are different a whole year ago. but I won’t be supporting this business anymore.

Service was good and food tasty. I love Friday, Reggae nights. They can update the dining area. And flooring and restrooms

I'm from Miami and I know Nola has a ton of black ppl but I was afraid I wouldn't be able to find any home down south cooking. Sometimes it's hard to find "Mom & Pops" home cooking via a Google search so I was so so glad to find these folks and then to get greeted with a "Good Morning" WITH beautiful smiles and white teeth! It was beautiful I honestly think it made the food taste better! 🔥💯 Enjoyed and ate every drop!

This food was VERY disappointing. The dirty rice tasted like celery and onion not to mention the rice was clean looking and had a weird seasoning on it. The red beans was watery af and had only a quarter piece of smoke sausage (cut the smoke sausage and then cut that piece into four pieces) not to mention the mystery item they called potato salad was unidentifiable. The ribs tasted like they had been cooked in smoke sausage water and then drowned in bbq sauce...and then put in the oven, the ribs were almost candied. The jiffy cornbread was the most decent thing on the plate and the ish was dry and stale. This was my first and very last time here. This food is just disgusting. No other words describe it..oh yeah they had like 40 flies everywhere. Y'all can have this.

I didnt eat here, but it smells really good and I had a really nice and great customer service experience especially having the situation I had with them having to remake the food all over again for my customer. I will be going to try them and give them my business because I never knew they existed. I had to leave it at 4 because I havent tried the food.

They never have NOTHING THEY SUPPOSE TO on Uber eats. Don’t order from there. Only go in so you can see what they got. The food not bad though.

The food was delicious. You won't be disappointed. And they also have great drinks
