Breakfast Menu "Waffle House" Winder

Has to be one of my favorite places to dine in. I went here to eat after graduation. It has a great atmosphere and wonderful service. Everyone working there is kind. Especially Dizzy (between you and me she was cute), who kept apologizing for the slow service, but me and my family kept on insist it was fine. We need more kind people like her around. So overall, I would highly recommend to check it out.

7/29/2023. This was by FAR the cleanest, most efficient Waffle House I have ever been in! Even the bathroom was spotless! The wait staff was very attentive and friendly, I am thoroughly impressed with everything about this location!

15 minutes before waiter even acknowledged us. Stacks of dirty dishes EVERYWHERE, waiter never came back, waiter and BOTH grill operators left 1 waitress by herself in a FULL (4 empty seats) house, counters were covered in syrup, floors were greasy. I felt sorry for the waitress who was trying to take care of everyone, run register, bus tables, and do dishes. We were there 30+ minutes and she was alone at least 25. In addition, waffle was burnt, patty melt had no onions and bread was thrown on the grill dry, had to get up and get own mayo because waiter disappeared faster than a blink of the eye! This one started running down awhile back and continues to do so.

Tempest and Anslee were the nicest, friendliest servers! They made our morning. We brought our 1 yr old for his first waffle house visit and they made sure it was amazing!

It's Waffle House. Need I say more? But if I must, the staff here have always been good. Polite, efficient, and friendly.

I honestly don't know who the lady was cooking for 3rd shift tonight but she was absolutely horrible and extremely disrespectful. I had worked at this waffle house for over 3 years so I myself understand that people get irritated. But the way she was behaving tonight had absolutely nothing to do with her being frustrated. I was waiting on my ride to come get me so I had a trash bag of clothes with me. From the second I walked into the restaurant she was very rude to me. She would stand there and laugh with other customers. But she was extremely hateful towards me. I know that I didn't look my best. And I had a trash bag with me that made me look homeless. But by no means at all does that give her the right to treat me the way she did. I even bought food and I wanted to just sit down real quick in the waiting area and just eat my food real fast. She completely refused to even let me eat anywhere in the restaurant. She made me go eat my food outside In the cold and I had no choice but to sit on the ground as I ate. I normally never write post complaining about a company because I understand that stuff happens. But she completely embarrassed me in front of all the customers there. And once she was finished she then proceeded to laugh at me while talking to a regular. I will never eat there again that store has lost any potential sales from me,my 5 friends that were there and also my family. If I would of treated any customers like that when I was employed there I wouldn't even get a chance to explain myself I would certainly be out of a job. Waffle house has for the longest time held customer satisfaction at the top of the list. But she clearly didn't care at all. The servers didn't do a thing wrong and actually tried to help me. But she was apparently to good to show any respect at all to me. For her to be extremely nice to absolutely everyone else while she treated me like trash was extremely embarrassing and so off putting to the point where customers just plain left and refused to eat there.

Updated from 3 to 4 stars. Had a great experience today even though there was no manager in sight. Server and Cook were great. The Waffle House reminds me of the Winder Publix by Papa John's just down the road. Great potential, just.... not quite there. Solid management would help here.

I recently visited this Waffle House and I have to say it’s not as bad as others. They seems to always be packed which is a testament in itself of their service. As busy as they were I was pleasantly surprised at the efficiency of their service as well as the friendly and professional atmosphere of the staff. They were very organized and were getting orders out not just fast but correctly and delicious. The waffle I got was so fluffy and light, other places give me hard or crispy waffles. Everything was cooked beautifully and I say well done to this gem. They have indeed set the bar for their sister stores.
