We came here after a failed attempt At breakfast at cracker barrel. Wait staff was great and the food was very good. If you have never tried it, have the hash browns with everything and add 2 eggs over medium on top of it all. You may need to bask on a warm rock for a while after this!
Ever feel depressed and feeling down? What does this have to do with a restaurant review? Good question. Everything! (For this restaurant!) My family slept nearby, and I always look for well-reviewed local businesses that serve fresh locally sourced food. This one was right near my place of stay. We sat at the bar and met the gang of staff working there with a smile and music on their feet and lips. They served simple American meal, and did it with great pleasure. Drop by, and you will not be down afterward. Hashbrown was perfect, and eggs were done great. Bacon was crisp. Did I mention that the waffle made my family smile and hum on the way out? It is your turn to sing and smile again.
I got hired at Wafflehouse, sadly it wasn't in the plans for me to be able to keep the job. I worked for one day and wasn't even able to finish my training due to life's path BUT I do have to say the atmosphere is so laid back. Everyone is super nice and forthcoming. They really do work together and do their absolute best to deliver fast service and a clean environment. My only regret is that I couldn't become part of the time for the long haul.
I absolutely love waffle House but Seems like Everytime I order something online from the synders hwy store my order is always wrong. I ordered multiple hash brown chicken melt bowls. One with bacon which is 2 extra dollars. When I get home and look I have zero bacon....other times it's my onions missing. On top of that my husband plate barely had any chicken on. Y'all need to do better especially if y'all expect tips. Unsatisfied customer
Good service (well not actually) and not good food. The cook can only do so much.
6:30 PM June 17,2023 2 customers when we walked in. Cooking area and grill looked clean. There was an overflowing trash can opposite to our table. Table was not wiped and when we asked Ashley she explained that the table was worn. It was worn but it also had either salt or sugar sprinkled, she wiped when asked but was not happy! When we ordered she seemed put out at it being 2 checks. When our food came out, the cook asked if we needed anything, we said our drinks as she still had not brought them. She went and got them for us. The waffles needed to be sent to be checked as to which was the Pecan Waffle, you could have seen if plated properly. The batter was too thin and gave an incomplet flat waffle, maybe it needed more leavening. The 10 year old was happy with his burger and hash browns, they had a nice crust. We had made a point to come to the Waffle House as the 10 year old had seen signs as we had traveled. Always had good experiences before.
5am breakfast because I didn't want to keep driving the interstate in the dark. Ham, egg and cheese hash browns bowl was perfect. Friendly waitress, clean-ish table, great coffee, clean-ish restroom. Five stars!
Open 24 /7. Food was prepared quickly and was tasty . Orders available for take out. Several motels nearby. Fully staffed with attentive service at 11 p.m. handicap accessible, including bathroom. Equipped with booths, low & high bar seating. Big sign at entrance that they are hiring, with benefits.
