First thing I noticed when I walked in, was that it was really dirty. There were dirty plates still out and the tables were not clean, very sticky. My family ordered waffles, the waitress forgot about it, until reminded. When we got it, it was undercooked and gooey on the inside. Not to mention the waffle makers looked like they had not been cleaned since the 1980s. The waitress also forgot to put cheese on our eggs and the ham we ordered was burnt. We saw that she playing on her phone when we waiting for the bill. The only thing that was good to me was the hashbrowns. Worst waffle house experience I've ever had.

It was really good. The recommendations to add to my hash browns were spot on. Pumpkin Spice waffle was delicious, too. Before 9am seemed to be the time to go, especially on a Sunday. We'll be back.

My husband and I have been eating here off and on for years. The service has typically been great and the quality of food is good for the value. If you like diner food and atmosphere, Waffle House is for you.

Good food. Small place but great service! They have their own they have their own brand of sugar free syrup and its delicious

Service with a smile! Hot, fresh, and made to order — I always enjoy Waffle House. This location seems busier than most, but every employee is hustling to get the job done. I sat at the bar because I enjoy watching the food being prepared. I never had to ask for a coffee refill, the server was on top of it. I will definitely be back. I would give it 5-stars if they would start serving real butter instead or margarine.

The food was good, but it always is at Waffle House. Unfortunately our service was horrible. They forgot about us, even though we were at the low bar. Like they had to go out of their way to forget about us. After 30 minutes and a reminder we were there they fell all over themselves with apologies but still didn't help us. They said, when you come back we will treat you like kings. Not when I come back, just help me now while I am here!! One person in our party ordered a blueberry Waffle. We watched them serve 4 blueberry Waffles that were ordered after ours. We asked the server when it would come, because at this point everyone in our group was done eating and ready to go but we still had one person waiting for food. We were assured it was being made, 5 minutes later the cook put it in the Waffle iron. We were there for 90 minutes. When we cashed out we were assured this was the cleanest Waffle House in KC. Sure, it was very clean. But the service was a complete joke.

Waffle House is my fav restaurant because it's unpredictable but THIS waffle house?? Immaculate. Not sticky like the other ones. It's always good and I love the staff so much. They're so sweet and very attentive. They pay a huge amount of attention, making sure we have enough coffee, the food is good. I didn't know you could get little cups for leftover grits but my lady hooked me up. I wish I could remember her name but she was an older woman with dyed pieces in her hair and she was the nicest person ever 🩷🩷 We also stared down the cook while he made our hash browns (we've been trying to learn how to make them at home) and I'm sure it was really uncomfortable for him because he didn't know why but he was perfectly polite and didn't say anything to us about it. We came around midnight.

The food was absolutely delicious. The cook, awesome curvy black lady, needs to be paid much more. Seriously pay that woman what a man in a high volume kitchen makes, $21+. She works like a boss and could have served and cooked for the entire restaurant single-handed. As much as she cooked not a single dish was washed by her coworker or removed from tables. I felt terrible for her. But she made it all happen. This goes out to you, amazing cook, you deserve more from the world. You deserve to be served at the level you provide to others. Let someone cook for you. Sorry, but.. Chante needs to learn how to be better at supporting the cook and overall doing her job; she talked more than she moved. I would lose my mind if I had to work with someone so unhelpful. Nice enough person, but goodness, not great at helping others or making waffles. I hope whoever manages this place takes this message into consideration.
