Check your receipts!!!!!! They add their tip to your meal before you pay! The. If you decide to tip then now you have tipped them twice! I order food to go and I see this at most of them.. servers adding their tip to your meal and this is to go order! I always tip, but do you really think you deserve a 6 dollar tip on a 8 dollar meal?
Well here we go again. This spot is quickly becoming one of my not so favorite waffle house. I give it a 3 star because whomever the manager was on duty that day. She was really trying to please with fast service, accuracy, and attention to the needs of the guest. Let me not leave out the cook as well. As for the manager, you could really see her brain turning as if she was saying where do I need to insert my assistance. She was second order cook, server and addressee. She deserve 5* for her efforts alone but until her team of helpers get on the same page. I can't do that. TEXAS is still a southern state, so where is the greetings with a smile to new guest coming, when do waffle house start telling guests to wait before serving them. Even at their busiest time, their was always a greeting and we will be with you shortly. Some how they fine a way to acknowledge your presence. But no greeting and speaking among each other of when they are going to tend to a table is not acceptable. 3* on a slide.
This was such a good place to eat breakfast for lunch. The staff was very attentive. The atmosphere and other patrons eating around us was great. You can never have too much breakfast for lunch or for dinner I think.
We got the cheesesteak bowl and it was great! Our server was attentive, and the restaurant was clean for the most part. We did go on a weekend around 2am, so there were some younger, rowdy patrons there but nothing out of the ordinary for us.
The food was good but our waitress had a terrible attitude. She made us feel from the moment we sat down that we had inconvenienced her by coming in for lunch.
I had a wonderful experience here for my first time at Waffle House! The food and service was great.
I've been here before for breakfast and other meals. For the most part it's a good meal for a good price. The waitstaff is normally attentive and friendly. However this time did not follow the norm. The menus were sticky from syrup, the server could have been a bit more friendly. For the most part that's about my only complaint. Oh and there were some people sitting at the end of the kitchen area. While one of the servers had to drone on and on about some inane bs. Not in a hushed tone, but full on loud. Just a lack of management In my opinion.
Stayed in here this morning for 20 mins no one offer to serve me or even acknowledged me.. it’s always in The morning. I come here late at night this doesn’t happen. The people are friendly and kind quick and efficient with service and meal preparation.. but the morning people are racist and the black girl in there knew I wasn’t served yet and kept breaking her neck to not catch eye contact with me.. smh sad! I Always tip even tho I was getting to go food this is sad.. went to Denny’s I won’t come back here in the morning!
