During our trip from Atlanta to St. Augustine we stopped for something to eat at this Waffle House at the 1st of May. It was our first visit to a Waffle House and we liked it from the beginning. The ambience is like in the movies and the services was really nice. We were able to see how our meals were prepared and it was all good. Before we left we had a little chat with one of the chiefs and one girl of the service and we got two little plastic ducks as a souvenir and lucky charm for the rest of our vacation trip. And guess what, we had the best vacation ever!
The food was great, but the service is what really set this place apart. I believe our server’s name was Sandy & the southern hospitality she showed was everything. I made sure she knew how thankful we were when we left. Driving in the car for 10 hours overnight with a young child, this really warmed my heart. Thank you Sandy!
The bacon was burnt. The waffle stuck to the waffle it pulled apart so there is nothing there.
They wouldn't answer the phone to take a to go order, but I got a recording saying they were giving preference to eat in customers. When I arrived there wasn't a car in the parking lot or a single dine in customer. They charged 20% for a take out charge and another 20% mandatory tip. When they presented the bill it asked for a tip in addition to the automatic one already charged. I will NEVER patronize the Waffle House again.
Always good. Their pecan waffles are amazing! And i love their smothered and covered hash browns. Smothered with onions and covered with cheese. Great job guys!
Chose this Waffle House because it was open and near where we were. I am glad we did. The service was prompt and friendly even though the place was full. The food was good. It was consistent with what I expect from a good Waffle House.
This couple that works night shift are the best they said they work the weekends they have an upbeat atmosphere and they always have a smile will definitely come back again
To the owner you have a phenomenal staff I habe been here in the early morning, afternoon abd at night and nothing but the best customer service and great food as well
