Surprisingly, This Waffle House is the best Waffle House we’ve ever been to. Food was actually good, not greasy, fresh. Place was clean and server Deek was extremely nice You rarely get this in Waffle House, but this one is the best!
Wear a jacket you will be in danger of catching pneumonia. It is unbearably cold.
Can never get anyone to the phone to take a to-go order. Then I pull up to dine-in and the parking lot would be empty and the employees would be standing around outside smoking. Love the food but service in Kings Mountain sucks!!
Cheese wasn't melted on the slapped together grilled cheese with bacon sandwich. Biscuit tasted like whatever was cooked all day on the grill. Chili had no flavor. Wrong bread on the sandwich, asked for wheat. The gravy was good though.
It's really a hit and miss here. Depending on who they have working when you come is depending upon what type of service you will get and how your meal will turn out. Half the time you can't place a call in order because they have the phone off the hook and when you go up there you expect them to be busy and there's not a sole there or maybe 2 or 3 customers if that! Since a lot of the workers have changed so has the service and the meal you receive and it's not in a good way by any means. This used to be my favorite waffle house and I live less than 3 miles away from it from now on when I want waffle house I'll go out of my way to a different one where service and our meals will be at least the minimum standard! This place needs a lot of work and change.
The ladies were very kind when we entered. All the guests that entered afterwards were greeted promptly. Not many people there at the time but definitely cares about us for the short amount of time that we were there.
We came on a busy Sunday morning, and not I lt was the WH clean, but the server was great. Excellent All-Star Special. Friendly waitress. Clean restaurant. Could not have asked for a better WH to eat at on our way to Carowinds. It's in a nice little area as well.
