Breakfast Menu "Waffle House" Huntersville

First time in a Waffle House. Solid food, if simple. Great quick and friendly service. Tasty coffee. Clean. No nonsense.

I came to this location because I’ve had amazing service in the past. I actually drove past two Waffle Houses just to come to this one. However, I just had the worse experience at this location. My husband and I waited to be acknowledged for over 8 minutes and no one said anything to us. We wanted to dine in and wouldn’t have minded to wait but when there are 7/8 people working but no one takes the time to even say welcome in, we left. The customer service has gone down horribly. The least you can do is acknowledge someone when they are in your establishment.

Fast and friendly service. The staff is always nice and the atmosphere is very friendly. I can see why this is a favorite for locals and why the customers keep content back.

My husband , myself and a friend went in after 3 am. The cook got smart because we was waiting for the waitress to wipe down the table.She was rude and only wanted to speak to my husband and his friend. Our friend added a waffle and I said ma’am I have a to go order. She looked at me and rolled her eyes. After she called it in she brought the ticket and threw it on the table in front of me.I watched 1 of the cooks scratch his head with his gloves on and continued to cook an order. Some teenage kids came in and some went to sit in the section we was seated and the cook looked at them and told them if you are with the others then you can not sit there you need to go with the others. Wow I have worked at Waffle House before and the cooks I worked with never ever got involved with the waitress tables like that. And mind you the cook that was having people sit where he wanted them couldn’t even keep up with the orders. I feel bad for the waitress cause with a cook like that they can not make money.

This location is no longer a franchise and became corporate. The waffle home atmosphere has been tarnished in my opinion. It is closer to a waffle location at this point and will no longer be the warm, welcoming atmosphere I knew it to be. As soon as I entered the doors and sat down I was greeted by a woman who told me if I wasn’t eating I had to leave. I was sitting with my friends so I ordered a chocolate milk. 12 minutes later I hadn’t seen my chocolate milk and my friends hadn't even had their order taken. The 3 police officers who walked in well after us had their order taken immediately. Now I’m not complaining about my order not being taken first as I believe they should’ve had priority over us, but I am complaining about the waitress implying that we were intoxicated to the officers. I do not view this as professional and would, be accepted in a homie environment but not in a corporate restaurant. As it became abundantly clear that my chocolate milk was not going to be made, I decided to jet. Poor service and snide remarks made the experience quite infuriating as I loved my waffle home. But this is no home it is merely a waffle establishment. Sincerely, A guy who wanted chocolate milk

This is the dirtiest Waffle House ever!!! Their improper sanitary conditions can get patrons sick. I don’t know about other shifts, but this crew was bad. My family and I were driving through states after vaca and decided to stop and get the kids waffles. We went in around 11:30am. They were a bit busy and the restaurant was pretty dirty, but I let it slide cus I thought the waiter would clean up properly after the last customers left so we can sit. There were food under tables and spilled beverage on the floor. Our waiter cleared the tables and wiped it down with a wet towel she took from the kitchen area that was just sitting there. She hardly wiped the tables and then literally threw the towel back to the same area. Later she took the same exact towel and wiped another table without washing or disinfecting it. I was a bit grossed out while we waited for her to finish. I thought she would at least wipe down the chairs and clean up the food that fell on the floor but she didn’t. She called us over and we had to step over the spilled beverage and sit with food below our feet. This franchise should at least have a standard cleaning protocol for staff to follow. Our tables were still sticky and I had to clean it with my own personal wipes. After we ordered our food, I started to look around and to my disgust, you would not believe how dirty the kitchen was. There were food and garbage all over the floor, and dirty counter and stove tops. They just trampled over it back and forth without bothering to pick up or wipe down. There were at least 6 staff members, so no excuse for the dirty conditions. The staff was having their own personal conversations, talking and laughing out loudly over food and drinks in their hands without face coverings. Our waiter even brought us syrup in the filthiest half filled syrup jug, with syrup running down the sides and dirty handles. New customers were seated on the table ahead of us and that spilled drink never mopped up. The bathroom is another subject of concern. Nasty and smelly!!! Our waiter was irritated because we requested to sit in her section. We were a party of 10 and there were more tables available on the right but obviously had to be cleared and cleaned. She refused us and they tried repeatedly to put us on 2 smaller tables that seat 8 and told us to pull up 2 additional chairs but I explained it would be too tight for all of us cus I knew all our plates and glasses would never fit. Management needs to have a serious convo with staff and provide adequate training. I would not recommend this location because of their unsanitary conditions and undertrained staff.

This place is fabulous, haven’t gotten my food yet but I already love it… update… just placed my order, WOW! 10/10. I talked to another customer who said that their tea tastes like coffee and it’s blowing their mind! Update…. A fellow waffle lover said “it’s the scenery that really makes it, the super 8 and the Hardee’s is really breathtaking” food was perfection

Love the staff here. And the food is always good... it's Waffle House! I asked my 5 yo daughter what she wanted for her birthday and she said eggs and bacon. So this is where I took her. Once our waitress discovered it was her birthday, she sang to my daughter and completely made her day. Small things make big impacts.
