The staff was incredibly friendly and the food was good. Just as you'd expect from a waffle house. It was snowing outside and we wanted hot chocolate. I ordered a bowl of chili, which I had never tried (I very much recommend it). The staff was very accommodating and would certainly return if back in that area.
Three strikes and you're out! Today was the third bad experience we have had there! Once was bad food and twice now bad service! The young boy who was supposed to serve us asked if we needed time to look at the menu. I said yes please, give us just a few minutes. 15 minutes later and he has completely disappeared from the restaurant. I went to pay for the drinks he actually served us. The head waitress said she was sorry and we could sit back down and eat for free. We left and went to Longhorn Steakhouse. I spent three times what I wanted to but we thoughly enjoyed the meal and the service was great too! We will NEVER go back to this waffle House again!
Stopped in for dinner with my son. We shared an all star. Waffles were great but the rest of it could have been better. Grits were lumpy, and had obviously been made for a while. They didn't taste like they usually do... bacon was not crispy at all and was mostly fat. I've frequently eaten at this location so I was suprisingly disappointed in this visit.
Use to come here after work sometimes very friendly waitresses and the food is good. The bathroom was clean. Always kept my drinks filled and asked if I needed anything but also let me eat without being on top of me to much. Wasn't to quick to give me the receipt until I asked for it
Very unsatisfied, waffles were only 1/3 rd of there normal size and hash browns were one thin layer with gaps of no potatoes. Food tasted okay but have had better. Service was below average. Eaten here before a couple years ago it was a totally different place, so much better I would have rated it a 4 1/2 back then.
Walked in and stood for about 5 minutes without anyone acknowledging us. No tables were clean and they were not that busy. District manager was there and when we finally got a table waited 30 minutes without being asked for our drinks. District manager literally stood over us all this time without caring to wait on us. Waffle house needs to work on their service big time. We go there all the time but they've been getting worse. Really disappointed.
They were getting ready to close at 2pm for weeklong remodel. It was 1:30 and we hadn't even gotten our food order yet, the manager swipes our condiments. It was loud and chaotic. Orders being barked out loudly by management to employees on what their next task was to be at 2pm. Right beside our table! Yelling for all employees to clock out although they still had customers to wait on and it wasn't yet 2pm. I was trying to finish eating, and the "guard" at the locked door leaned up against the wall staring at me. Then she came over to ask me if everything was ok. I told her I was just trying to finish my food. She said she wasn't rushing me!!! Hmmm. Our waitress was awesome. She gave a 10% discount because the manager stole our condiments, which I told her wasn't necessary. At checkout the person couldn't figure out my check with discount. After half a dozen employees couldn't figure it out, i offered to help them figure out how to take 10% off of a check. Kim finally took charge and handled it. Out the door we go! Food was good as always, but our dining experience did the "s" word.
Tonight, the grill cook came to our table to ask if my wife wanted her hash browns extra crispy. She's asked for them to be extra crispy before, but it was a couple of months ago and we haven't been to this location since. She was thrilled that he remembered her and how she likes her hash browns cooked!
