Probably great if you eat meat but very few other options. Can't believe they charge $3 for a 'tomato salad' consisting of four slices tomato. Service was not exactly efficient either.
This place was one favorites place, and not everybody is nasty, but sometimes you found the wrong people in the wrong job A short little black lady deny the service Told me to leave, because she wasn't gonna serving me and my dad. Because I asked for dark roasted coffee,and she was with no time to make that. But first, she blamed the management that they didn't leave anything to work with. When they leave, everything is locked, I don't know if it's racist situation But in the beginning, she was nasty... I call waffle house headquarters leave my experience, complaint with frank supervisor was off duty there, leave my phone number, it's been 5 days still waiting they don't care they don't want to know what real happens. Thanks to Crystal she cooked for us. we didn't walk outside with an empty stomach.
This particular Waffle House was very short staffed the night of my visit. The young lady in charge was very nice and helpful. She did her due diligence in letting me know the situation @ hand. She went above and beyond to make my visit and meal enjoyable. I would give a rating more than two stars just because of HER! She saw and realized the quality of my meal was terrible! I'm not sure whom the female cook was. But, she tried! She tried on 3 different occasions to make a hashbrown medium well. Unfortunately she got it wrong all 3 tymes. The grits were lumpy from top to bottom. They were unbearable. Once again the young lady in charge came to my rescue. She offered a new bowl until she looked @ da remaining grits. Only to say they were just as bad if not worse. The texas toast was burned beyond recognition. The bacon was not charred as bad. But, it was a tad bit too crispy. The young lady in charge offered her condolences for my meal. She payed her respect by not charging me for the hashbrown meal. I was very pleased with her doing what she could to make this a NOT AS BAD of a situation as it was. When asked what her name was she gave it with no hesitation. I hate I cannot remember what her name was. As I stated earlier she went above and beyond to make a restaurant full of unhappy patrons happy!
Out of the park. Food was PERFECT. Eggs done perfectly. I like my bacon burnt black. Done. Perfect. I like my grits thick and able to eat with a fork. Perfect. Coffee cup was never empty. All this and a full restaurant. Tina was my server, Paul was my cook. Lexi was running around filling in wherever. Every was smiling and for the first time this week, I felt like I was at home. Thanks guys.
Normally have 0 complaints, but had a hair in my daughter's grits, I had loaded hasbrowns and found a hair in my food also. I normally would have been rude about it but I was nice and quiet when I showed our waitress. She acted nonchalant like it wasn't a big deal😳. They remade my daughter's food....who wants to still eat something else from there at this point t?! They only took about $5 off our bill. I shouldn't have paid for anything. And I still left her a $5 tip.
Horrible staff and mediocre food. Staff is rude and does not like to serve customers with attitude. One of the worst in the company. Routinely “close the grill for cleaning” for an hour. They also pad the tickets. No visit is the same. Horrible place, go elsewhere.
Sat at table for at least 15 minutes and waitress never took our drink order or food order. There was only 3 other occupied tables and 2 of them already had there food. So we left. That used to be one of my favorite Waffle houses. But I will never go there again
We came in and no one said a word to us acted like we weren't there. They have 4 booths chained off and no seats available and still didn't say anything. The waitress pretty much went abt her business acted like we weren't there. Thank God 2 more waitresses came in at 7am we finally received drinks and our food. The waitress we ended up with she was awesome! So nice
