We have more good experiences than bad, and I can't say that we've ever had a truly terrible experience here. The service is almost always at least adequate, sometimes it's really good. The atmosphere can be really hit or miss depending on who is working or what combination of people you have working. I will say this, I don't know that I've ever been bored at this location, and certainly not recently. The food is almost always good. The biggest question mark (and this is across multiple Waffle House locations) is whether the gravy is going to be good. I've learned to ask before adding any to my hashbrowns or a hashbrown bowl. On this night, I had the cheesesteak melt which has become my new favorite thing, with hashbrowns (no gravy this night) and a plain waffle. My partner had a grits bowl and a waffle.
Spent 25$ no utensils, no syrup to go with waffles, one pkg ketchup no condiments. Then was not informed. Had to walk back in to ask for the afore mentioned and was spoke to as tho I was supposed to already know and very rudely I might add
Had the chicken and waffle breakfast. It wasn't as good as it usually is. The chicken was dry, and the potatoes were cold, and they forgot the grits. The waffle was pretty good.
I always make it a point to eat breakfast at any waffle house when I visit. Here, my order was correct and serviced fast. Staff is friendly. Thumbs up. 👍. I've visited several and have not been disappointed with them.
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! Line cook yelled out to everyone "No more well done bacon or sausage, you get the food the way I serve it. If you want it your way, go somewhere else." And so we did. We originally thought the store was busy but turns out it was just a really inefficient kitchen and lazy staff.
We live up North and we don't have Waffle Houses here. It's always a treat for us to get to one when we are down South. Great food!!
They had just finished a rush from a concert. Server was great, the food not so much. But we lived through it. They had just finished a rush. So we took it in stride.
Consistent food and service across America. Half the booths were closed for some reason, people were standing waiting on a table.
