Breakfast Menu "Village Pizzeria" Bethel

Passing by this cozy bilingual little pizzeria, limited free parking. Not 100%. accessibility a small step by front door, chairs for sitting arrangement which are accessible. Very polite staff and service, many come for take out. I ordered calzone, which was made fresh calzone, blue cheese, which I may add is not my preference, but it was made very creamy and delicious. They also provide hot pastas and cold sandwiches. I'm looking forward to returning again.

Just started coming here about 5 months ago. I like Pizza where the cheese stretches when getting your slice. Greasy with meat toppings. Next morning leftover not stale. Pasta cooked just right. Enough sauce to cover. Grinders packed end to end. Keep coming back.

Tell them Emilio sent you! Excellent thin crust NY style pizza right here in Bethel bordering Danbury. I've been coming here for 40+ years the pizza has stayed consistent since then. The new owners have kept the "secret sauce," which is the key to success. The new owners are also very kind and attentive.

The food is pretty good! I live in Bethel and this is used to be a regular spot for me but not anymore... one of the guys who works there (could be the manager or something) has a super nasty attitude... just a genuinely grumpy fella. Every time I go in there he seems very upset to have a customer (and nope, I don't go there right after it opens or right after it closes either!) He seems very upset to have to do work.. and on more than one occasion he messed up my order and was very not cool about it. The first time, I ordered a chicken parm hero, he gave me someone else's eggplant parm instead by accident.. when I got home, I called, and he said "I can make you another one but you have to come back for it" - no offer to refund the card, didn't throw in an order of garlic knots for the trouble of having to drive back there.. nada. The second time, I ordered fries, he didn't include the fries.. I called to inform him and he said I'd have to come back out there to get it... but then like why order DoorDash..? Again, no offer to refund, didn't include anything for the trouble, and was somehow upset with ME for calling him and asking about the fries.....??

Small but might place to eat. Pizza and entrees are always hot and delicious. Try the Hot and Spicy pizza, it's amazing.

We happened to be in the area and looked up a pizzeria nearby. What made me go was that reviewers said it was the best NY style pizza. Being a native New Yorker my family and I decided we would go confirm this 😅. I am happy to report it was a pleasant invitating, cozy place.....being in there with 5 kids did not make me feel uncomfortable like in other places. Now let me tell you reviewers were NOT wrong!!! This was the best pizza ever, EVER we have had since moving from NY now almost 5 years ago!!!! We truly felt at home!!!! In all these years we have tried countless pizzerias and none just hit the spot. Cheese, crust and sauce are just never the right combinations. But with Village Pizzeria I was blown away. It was SO so good that we ordered and ate 3 large pizza pies ON SITE with no left overs!!!! Even my twins who are 5 and tiny ate 3 slices each, which is unheard of! If you haven't given these guys a try, YOU ARE TRULY missing out!!!! Now the sad part is we live 40 min away, so we won't be able to get it as often as we wish we could. BUT we will for sure make the trip without doubt and I look forward to being back soon, not once or twice but as many times we can!! Thank Village Pizzeria for such amazing pizza!!! You made us re-live our old NY days and we are so happy we have finally found the place that makes us feel like back home 🗽

If you love that New York Pizza You’ll Love Village Pizzeria. Always served quickly at lunch time I often order by phone and eat at the restaurant. We Take out from the full menu for dinner at home. The food is always good and the pizza outstanding. Friendly NEW OWNER who worked here for 9 years before buying this business. He makes killer 🥣 🍜 soups Bravo Bravo

Love this place! The pizza is great and so are the prices. If you are looking for NY style pizza in CT (which is hard to come by) this is the place to be. Keep rocking village pizzeria! **Would be helpful to update prices on the website to what they actually are, thanks.
