This Village Inn looked fairly new. We were the only ones there. It was 8 am so I don't know if they just opened. It took several minutes for a waitress to come to the table. She was very pleasant. The prices were a little higher than most Village Inns. It was still good. We both had the VIB. (Village Inn Breakfast). Which is 2 eggs, meat (bacon) hash browns, and pancakes or french toast. I had coffee. It was good, not to strong. Only problem was when we paid. The credit card machine was not working. Good thing we had cash.

Great service and tasty food. The white gravy was pretty good and so was the salsa. Crispy hash browns, fluffy pancakes 🥞 very filling!! Totally recommend.

While traveling from Denver to Kansas City, I stopped in Colby. It was just about lunch time and I decided to stop and eat here. I’m glad I did because it’s a great place to eat! The food was delicious and the service was great! They’re looked to be a lot of locals here.

Excellent breakfast! Wide variety of combos or build yourself menu! Good coffee served with pitcher for refills. Crepes, eggs, hashbrowns gravy all very good! Beautiful atmosphere, friendly waittress.

Road trips are hard when seeking a breakfast to kick it off. Stopped in here to eat vs getting food in the car and ordered the chicken fried steak with eggs sunny side up. Eggs came out with very runny uncooked egg whites and the hash browns were not even brown. They were tan at best from setting in grease getting luke warm. The hash browns were very mushy and under cooked. I only asked the waitress if I could get another round of eggs that had the egg whites cooked. Laura told me that’s what sunny side up is supposed to look like. I explained I understand what sunny side up was but, these were still raw egg whites. She didn’t respond and rudely turned around and stormed off. At this point, I didn’t even point out the tan browns or even the pancakes that were burnt to a crisp underneath. The waffles for the kids came out just fine. I’m not sure those are too hard to mess up. Hold out for a 15 minute drive just east of this exit to Oakley, KS for IHOP!

I gave 2 stars because i did not end up with food poisoning, so that is good right. And the waitress was nice, although I don't know how she kept a straight face when she served the horrible food. Orange juice was literally half water. Omelet was CRISPY, bacon was almost raw (so i sent it back). They responded by nuking my bacon until it was rock hard, hashbrowns were white(not even browned). And the toast was half toasted and drowning in butter. Luckily the butter did not melt because the toast was cold. Dont eat here.

They need more help. Very busy during lunch. No Manager came around to see how the meal was. Waitress was doing the best she could. The food was hot and prepared well.

Food was excellent, service was perfect and wait was about as you'd expect when they cook your food after you order. No complaints at all except for the cleanliness of the bathroom as there was urine all over the floors. Granted that isn't their fault and I don't know how long it was there, that was the only negative thing about my visit.
