Grew up going to Vejars but moved out of the area. Was visiting earlier this month and took the chance to go again. The food is great - bean and cheese burritos with cheese on top have been my go-to since childhood so I had to have one, but I also had a tostada, which was good too. Portions are generous and prices are reasonable. Also, I am so excited that they bottle their special sauce now - enjoying the two bottles I have from 3,000 miles away.

Had the Chorizo Stuffed Shrimp Wrapped in Bacon with the Diablo Sauce!! Yum! Lots of flavor and will be back if ever in town!

I ordered a rum and coke for 5 dollars and talk about getting your money's worth man I kept them coming for that price and finished off with some Chicken enchiladas 😋 amazing, I highly recommend you stop by, say goldblooded495 sent you!!!

Great food. Great service. We live about 201 miles away but every time we travel on Highway 99, we make it a point to stop here. It never disappoints. We love Vejar’s.

Food here is Excellent! Servers are nice and there is always abundant amounts of chips and salsa (try their secret sweet and sour sauce too!). They mixed up my food and it came with a different meat. However, that meat was tender and delicious 😋. Location is quite far from where I live but we intend to go back again. Saved this place in my favorites 👍🏻.

I went on a first and only date with a really nice girl. But she brought up kids and marriage in the first 10 minutes not the restaurant's fault. Other than that it is a great place to eat. Hard working staff! Cool vibes.

Half restaurant and half bar setting. I prefer the bar area, same menu options on both sides. The food is great and beer is cold! Bar tenders/servers are very friendly and provide great service.

If there is a go to restaurant in Tulare this is it. Been going here for years and I can say it’s always a good meal and great service!
