Me and my lady ate here at 11:15 AM on a Saturday. Wasn't crowded and got our food reasonably quick. We both got "The Western" burger. I got onion rings and she got the "Treat yourself" cheese fries. Onion rings were okay.... fries were good but the burgers rocked! Friendly staff!

Let me tell you, it's been a while since I could rate places but I'm happy about this one. I've driven by this place when visiting my grandparents and I've been interested, but this time...it was time. Wife and I walked here from nearby, and we're immediately excited by the menu, then the atmosphere was awesome. Looking at the menu was difficult because everything looks amazing. Got our burgers and sides, delicious. Got a shake that I chose the bourbon for, amazing. I'm looking forward to visiting again tomorrow. Update: Went by here again the day after the review, had a different burger, side, and shake, and again EXTREMELY satisfied with the service, workers, and the consumables. Ready to come back again!

Good basic comfort food. Onion rings were tasty and fresh. There is no table service here, you place your order, and they call a name and you go get your food. We drove here from the airport, it was worth the trip. Everything seemed to be clean and the staff was quite friendly.

This was my first time to this restaurant. It wasn't very crowded when we arrived just before 4 pm but groups of people started trickling in after us. I ordered the lots a Shroom burger with hand cut chips and the wife ordered a BYO burger with cheddar cheese and caramelized onions with sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries came with cinnamon on them. We would have preferred them without the cinnamon but we don't know if that is an option. There is draft beer available and while it is limited it is better than no draft beer selections at all. The good people snake handler was a good choice. Our burgers were out quickly. I devoured my mushroom burger and it was very good but it was not medium well like the menu states. It is because of the pink with our burgers is why my wife would not finish her BYO burger. I realize the menu states to speak up about the cooking of the burger. However, it would have been helpful if we would have been asked how would we like our burgers cooked. We know this the next time we visit this restaurant.

So my husband and I went a while back to give it a shot. I ordered the Southern Comfort and a smores shake. The atmosphere was pretty cool and it was pretty crowded. I enjoyed the system they have for you picking up your food. On to the food itself. It looks delicious... However, not memorable. I don't know if it was the combination of flavors or too much of 1 or more things. But it was not the best burger in town and over priced. I will mostly likely go back and give it another shot just to see if it was what I ordered or if it is how they cook, season and prepare the meat. We shall see. (the smores shake was good but rich and they could have toasted the marshmallow more)

Amazing fresh burger place. I had a buffalo burger and it was fantastic! Who knew? My husband had a “regular hamburger and it was great as well. The staff was not too helpful, and this may have been because we ate in the early afternoon. They weren’t busy, so I didn’t understand the lack of helpfulness on their part. I would love to go back with a large group of friends for a fun Friday night. I’ll definitely give them another chance.

This place was so good! The gluten free bun was soft and is the closest thing I've had to real bread in 3 years! I got the spicy goat burger and it was one of the best burgers I've ever had! The fries were also delicious! Make sure you try the watermelon sweet tea!

Went here for the first time today because I was craving a burger. The menu has a variety of burger options as well as exotic meats. The food was fantastic, service was also quick. They had multiple types of pickles and condiments to choose from on the side. Definitely recommend this place, comparable to farm burger with more options, would definitely place it above jack browns. If you are looking for a good burger in Birmingham give Twisted Root a try. Editing 3 months later because I frequently visit twisted root now. I have tried half of their burgers and have yet to be disappointed. It is really hard to find a consistent kitchen and serving staff but twisted root definitely delivers.
