Loved the food here! Portions are small and the building is small, but the flavors are large! There is also a large portion of the menu for vegetarian/vegan dishes. I wouldn't recommend this for large groups. The seating area is clean and up-to-date. The bathrooms could be kept up better but for the most part they are clean. The service is great and they have nice baby high chairs.

Another underrated place. We come here semi frequently and the food is always fresh and crispy and hot. The service is amazing. We had the gobi and lamb samosa for apps and for our meals we had butter chicken and the garlic cheese naan and the Tika pizza and it was soooo good. Never a disappointment!

The description of food and taste is extremely disingenuous. The daal mahkani is not a daal Mahkani, does not have the consistency of one and is just a simple urad daal with big chunks of onion. The daal tadka is not a daal tadka it’s a moong daal with chunks of onion with a watery consistency. The appetizer was fine, the naan (breads) are not tandoor at all. Food was not seasoned well and the restaurant does not match Indian taste at all. It is a blatant mockery of Indian food and I recommend anyone who wants authentic food to take their business anywhere else. You can look up pictures of daal makhani and daal tadka and compare it with what you see on the internet and the difference is night and day. The name of the restaurant “Top of India” is a lie; it is not even of india or it’s the worst that india can provide. I have attached the food below. I urge everyone trying to seek a true authentic Indian experience to avoid this restaurant entirely.

Upon entering you notice the decor is fresh and ambiance is nice. It’s a good place to go with family. Keeping in mind it’s an Indian restaurant they have 5 spice levels which are fairly accurate. We ordered variety of dishes in different spice levels. Everything we ordered was delicious. Only thing we didn’t love was one of the deserts, the staff was very professional about it and offered to replace it which we didn’t want and they refunded it. Staff was nice and courteous and we got our meal in good time. We will be going again to try different items on the menu. Definitely recommend.

Much better experience than my previous Spokane BIR meals. Staff was awesome. Food was amazing. I'll be returning when I come through Spokane again. Enjoy! Chef Rich

I had an absolutely delicious meal, I had lamb samosas to start. Then a chicken vindaloo with rice and garlic naan. For dessert I had kheer the whole meal amazing, I'm definitely coming back next time I'm in Spokane.

Good ambience and true spice levels as someone else mentioned in their reviews (true Indian spice level). Abundant parking space. I must say the quantity they serve is less, so you won't end up overeating. We ordered chicken biryani, chicken chilli and chicken tikka (appetizer). All was good except chicken in chilli chicken was probably stale or over cooked (so they lost 1 star here). But a definite place to try again!

Disappointing. Had the same relative experience about a decade ago and figured it was time to give them another shot. Some of the heating trays weren't working so there were a few cold items. One of the soups was excellent but the tikka masala gravy had the EXACT flavor profile of Chef Boyardee (only thing missing were the raviolis🤦‍♂️) The meatballs in the chili meatballs were store bought ground beef... nothing indian about that. I'd say they are just looking to throw up something that checks a box as indian dishes but there's very poor execution, no love in there. Too many other great Indian restaurants in the area, so it will probably be another decade before I darkesn their door again.
