100/10 I absolutely loved my sandwiches from Tony's. I remember my mom would come here when I was a child. I don't really remember much about the food. Until recently, A friend of mine recommended that I come to Tony's and order the 3 submarine sandwich special. We went to a baseball game and he recommended this sandwich is the perfect sandwich to take to the game. Its delicious, its simple, it's not messy, it's perfectly wrapped in plastic. It was the best idea 💡 I really enjoyed the bread made from scratch, the oil and seasonings, the freshly sliced deli meat and cheese. It was a home run out of the ball park. Thank you Tony's for making this the best experience!

The subs here are delicious, Customer service was great. The restaurant looks clean and neat. We will definitely come back.

60 year Italian delicatessen in the heart of Montebello, CA! Deli, desserts, drinks and mini-store for all you purchasing needs!

Best sandwich Ive ever tasted. You can tell they take pride and joy in what they do. That 3 ft sandwich was enough to feed a big party, and we have leftovers, definetly recommend, totally worth it!

I loved the spinach and cheese ravioli!!! 🤤!! I have always drove past this place and never knew about it. So glad my coworker recommended it. Will be coming back to try other foods. The lunch special I got came with the ravioli, garlic bread, and a salad! Great Price too!

I walked in just as they were opening. I ordered a turkey sub and a corned beef sub. I also wanted to try their marinara sauce to I picked up a frozen container of that. The sandwiches were typical. It's not stale but not fresh bread either. The sauce was below standard. It was heavy tomato taste with very little taste of anything else. The meat in the sauce was scarce. It appears as though they use a whole table spoon for this container. I think I could overlook the food or at least find something that I could enjoy, However, the worst part of substandard food is the terrible service. Both ladies that were there that morning were painfully rude. So, although the sandwiches were not bad, they tasted worse because of the price I paid and the less than helpful service I received. I don't think I would go back to spend my good money on that kind of service, which is a shame because had I been given better service, I might have found something that I would go back for.

Finally had the chance to visit and didn't disappoint. Highly recommend cold or hot sandwiches!

So prices have gone up since my last visit, but I have to admit, I’m not mad. Who’s prices haven’t gone up since Covid? It’s still a great value and they are definitely less expensive than some other sandwich spots I frequent. Anyway, don’t get near Montebello as much as I would like anymore, so when I do, you try to grab a roast beef sando since it’s pretty unique here. The believe it’s still made on the store, so you are not getting sliced up deli meat that you can get anywhere. I was also craving a sub, so I got both which was a mistake. Two large sando’s for less than $18 is a deal, but I ate half the sub on my drive home, so I only had enough room for about a 1/4 of my roast beef :). Happy to have left overs, so all good there, but I definitely will gain weight if I order like I did. Service is always spot on. This trip was a call ahead order which they said would be ready on 10 mins, but told them was 20 mins away, so they said they would hold off a bit before making so it would be fresh. How cool was that. Best straight forward sandwich and prices in the San Gabriel valley for sure. I have a Italian sub option in another city when I need it, but Tony’s is my only spot for roast beef!!!!
