This place has Bangin chicken salad found by accident now I’m addicted really good chocolate chip cookies
Thrifty Deli in Ronkonkoma has the best food I’ve ever had. They have a great variety of specials daily and everything I’ve ever had there has been delicious. The catering is amazing. The prices are reasonable and the staff are always extremely helpful and polite. One of my favorite things there is their potato salad. The classic deli style potato salad it’s made fresh and they have the best I’ve ever had. You must try some , I can guarantee you’ll be back for more. In fact all the salads are the best !! Hero’s , salads and all! I’m hungry just writing this . I hope you enjoy their food as much as my family and I do .

Great food, good prices, I just wish the food prep was quicker. Never had an issue with the quality of the food or the order being incorrect. Just a bit annoyed at the time it takes. I ordered three sandwiches to go on a Tuesday at 3:50 over the phone. The nice lady said it would be ready in 10 to 15 minutes so I told her I'll just take the walk over there to pick it up. It was a 9-minute walk so I decided to go in to let them know that I was there and I figured it would take another 5 or 10 minutes, so no big deal. It wasn't particularly crowded but they handled the orders from the people who ordered in store before they made mine. They close for the day at 5:00 p.m. I was given my three sandwiches at 4:59 and walked back to an empty office with three sandwiches, for what was supposed to be a very late lunch before the end of day. Again, me and the two other coworkers ate the sandwiches the next day which was fine, but it really shouldn't take an hour and 10 minutes to make three sandwiches when I told the girl I'll walk over and I'll even give them a few extra minutes. Not looking for any reimbursement or response, I'll give it another go and hopefully it doesn't take as long to make a sandwich and I'll change my review.
We walked over to this cute little deli and shop for a quick lunch since we staying nearby without a car and were delightfully surprised by this family (maybe?) run deli and small grocery. We had Cuban sandwiches (very good!) and picked up a few snacks for our trip...surprisingly good little spot.
I stopped into the deli today for the first time today! Hot food looked amazing but there daily specials menu had a sandwich that sounded better! Roast beef horseradish cheddar onion rings on a hero! This was by far the best sandwich I have had in a while! The girls were great and they offer a side with the sandwich! Overall great experience!
They make amazing sandwiches for lunch and catering the only thing is they charge for every little thing that should be included with the sandwiches. High inflation that's all I can think of. Thank biden 😂 lol
