My niece had her wedding there, it was simply beautiful! The staff was great! The hospitality was exceptional, very accommodating to our needs. The food was superb. It's was hot, presentation was pleasing to the eyes. The venue itself was nice and clean, something that I really pay close attention to while dining out. The atmosphere was pleasant so that was helpful with us having a wonderful time. Couldn't have been a better experience! Thanks

We used The Wooster Inn as our wedding venue, and we could not have been happier! The campus is kept up beautifully and feels both comfortable and professional. The restaurant is clean, the food is amazing, and the staff is never anything but pleasant. Planning a wedding in particular can be incredibly stressful, but Ken and his staff eliminated everything stressful about the planning experience. All expectations were made clear upfront, all prices and costs were disclosed prior to billing, and the execution of the plan that we worked out together was flawless. The staff made sure that the chairs were set up for the wedding ceremony, the site (the outside patio under the tents) was clean, and our guests never had to wait for food and beverages. All we had to do was show up and decorate before the event. The detail that I was most impressed with was that everyone on staff on the evening of our wedding was smiling. Some of the servers were singing along to the music, and the overall atmosphere was fun and lighthearted. No one seemed like they didn't want to be there, and I never felt like I was inconveniencing anyone - even as they helped us clean up and collect our things as the event came to a close. If I had to do it all over again, I'd choose The Wooster Inn in a heartbeat!

Fine dining with great wines in the dining room, relaxed beautiful dining on the patio for lunch or dinner in nice weather, fun dining in the Pub anytime. All of this in a beautiful classic building adjacent to a golf course. The most versatile dining in Wooster with a first class menu, full bar, and fine wines. We have seen the menu change with some frequency offering a wider variety of offerings including vegan dishes and vegetables ! (We have found the wait staff to be very attentive and have never seen smoking as mentioned in another review.) Excellent and highly recommended.!

Had lunch there today. I probably will not return. The dining room is attractive. The service was acceptable. The food was horrible. I had a bean burger which was burned. Not the bun but the patty itself. It had one piece of lettuce and a slice of tomato. Certainly was not worth $12. I ordered it with home made chips. They were not fresh. I question if they were even prepared today. Soggy. My wife's chicken sandwich was equally unacceptable. Never again. We should have sent the food back. But we did not have enough time. So we are really bad food.

I accompanied my cousin for a meeting with the owner to review their brunch menu for her upcoming wedding. The menu was extensive and provided a lot of options, and the venue itself was nice. However, the chef was extremely rude and unprofessional. No sense of responsibility, and just an unpleasant person. Considering that the owner is actually being sued by his employees, I would look for other options if you were originally interested in the Wooster Inn.

Was there a wedding. The service for the diner was amazing. A friend who is gluten free didn't know before hand that the chicken dish was breaded, when her husband asked about it the manager asked if he could get her something else. She declined the offer, but he still brought out a steak dish for her. Could not ask for better service. Will be going back there for diner.

Usually a good place to dine. However last night wasn't one. Our server was a bit slow and when asked about certain entrees had to go back to kitchen to find out. Also the wedding party's DJ had speaker amps so high it blew the circuit breakers for the entire restaurant. Shutting down their computer so we couldn't use credit cards to pay. Waited 20 minutes before being told about the problem. However long story short, we were offered free dessert and discount on the bill. We would still recommend restaurant and go back. Stuff happens!!

The Inn has varied dining options; most recent my group chose to sit in the patio which faces the College of Wooster golf course. It's a lively outdoor venue. The menu at the Inn is varied as well, and having experienced many of its options, I can say first hand that the food is excellent. Service is friendly and prompt.
