Unclean outdoor seating area and the worst pizza crust I ever encountered. Of the three people behind the counter they couldn't seem to figure out which of them would help their only customer (us) at 2:45pm. I almost didn't eat because of the lack of attention to basic cleaning. I can't imagine what the kitchen must look like.
It's your average pizza and sub shop. Nothing extraordinary. $7.50 for a small tuna sub.
It has always been hit or miss with this place. For the most part, it is your typical subshop. Decent food for a reasonable price. It's great they accept credit cards because I rarely have cash when the day/night calls for takeout. Honestly, though, that has been the only reason we call them in the past year or so. I've seen a steady decline in accuracy, quality, speed and service. My family has repeatedly received inaccurate orders. One time, we ordered a steak and cheese, asking for provolone instead of American only to get no cheese. Toasted items are often not toasted. Missing items occur from time to time. We've received burnt pizza. We have rarely complained and have never asked for items to be replaced or ask for anything in return in these situations: we get that things get busy and mistakes occur. But there comes a time when you have to realize it is a pattern. Today was that time. Today, I ordered two roast beef subs, one with mayo and the other without. My daughter picked it up and had to wait 15 min beyond the promised time for the order. They both came with mayo. The incorrect one was supposed to be toasted. My daughter would just not eat it, as she can't stomach mayo. I called and advised of the issue, and asked that this be made right by having the correct order delivered. I was told by, who I believe to be the owner/manager, that he was too busy to do this, so I advised I would come by to pick it up. He informed me he would have it ready, as it would take 15-20! They are 3 minutes away. When I arrived, I was given an attitude like I had done something wrong to complain for asking for my food to be right. Then, the owner/manager went out back and made the sub (roast beef with pickles - not hard to get wrong). He did not toast it. He gave no explanation why I had to wait 15-20 for the 5 sec it took him to make the sub, which was again wrong. This is flat out horrible service. The one time I took the time to request their error to be rectified, and I was treated like I was wrong for doing so. I will not be ordering from this place again.
Saw a delivery car in the area and wanted to try a new place for delivery. I ordered the clam strip dinner and Kids Fish and French Fries online, which was a very easy process. They called not long after to inform me they did run out of fresh clams but would replace it with whatever I would like instead. OF COURSE I am bummed, but I go for the Haddock Dinner. The delivery driver was also very apologetic they did not have clam strips and I even got a 2 Liter Diet Coke. The food was great!
Not sure how this place has 5 stars from anyone. My husband and I grew up in Nab. Loved Willows Pizza. We haven't had in such as long time. Ordered a pizza for delivery. Disgusting!!! Grease covered the pizza. Cheese just slid off. One bite by each of us and an entire pizza thrown away. Never again.
This place is a gem. Great selection of dishes and everything is good. I've tried most things on the menu and it's all great. The staff is friendly and helpful. Not to mention beer on tap and keno. Highly recommended!!!!
Picked up a couple subs to-go for an easy dinner. Excellent steak and cheese sub: full and flavorful. But the toasted ham and cheese sub was skimpy! Needed to add more ham when I got home. Service good. Previously got the ham and cheese calzone which was excellent. Bottom line: skip the sub, order the calzone!
Conveniently located in the nabnasset section of Westford it could be easily reached by exit number 32 off Route 495 or also exit number 32 off Route 3. I've eaten there three times in the last month month-and-a-half and each time I was very pleased with the service, and most especially the quality of the food, it was exceptional! I can't wait to go back and have another seafood platter.
