Aside from having some of the best hot dogs in Northern Virginia the Wiener's Circle also offers daily sandwich specials and holiday themed food. The pulled pork is fantastic, the jambalaya is authentic, the food is awesome. They always sell out of their crab cakes and NY prime burgers. The place is run by the nicest family. They make you feel welcome and you get the feeling that they honestly care about how the food tastes. When people love what they do it shows - big time!
Great selection of hot dogs and sausages that taste fresh and delicious. The selections of toppings is phenomenal. Try the grilled Serrano peppers and chili cheese sauce. Don't fill up there dogs, though. The garlic fries with curry ketchup is a necessity.
Great Falls Gourmet (The Wiener's Circle's catering company) catered our wedding. From the start they were extremely professional. We were planning a multi-cultural wedding using two caterers, and Diane worked with us to provide the dishes for the American portion to complement our other caterer's dishes. Great Falls also provided our appetizers for the cocktail hour, the plated salads, as well as an assortment of desserts. Everything tasted amazing, from the moment we first tasted the food, we knew we had made the right choice. The food at our wedding was fresh and hot, and tasted like it had just come out of the kitchen. Diane and her team worked flawlessly with the other caterer and our other vendors, and the night went off without a hitch. Almost a month later, and the guests are still raving about the food. If you're looking for a caterer, I would definitely recommend checking out Great Falls.
They make their own wieners and sausages - amazing and fresh. It's one thing to enjoy a Nathan's hot dog or a Johnsonville brat, but it's an entirely different taste experience to have something made fresh and not loaded up with all kinds of salt and preservatives. They also have a lot more than just hot dogs and sausages, and the folks who run it are really nice people. Fair prices, really good food.
I work across the street and often walk over here to grab lunch. They offer more then just hot dogs, which are great in themselves. Try the 8oz angus hotdog! Daily they have specials, sign up for their email, and everyday you'll get an email with their specials, I look at them everyday, often making me choose them 3+ times a week for lunch. They are just that good! on a nice day out it's well worth the walk to try out all the food they have to offer. Also, the owner is a great guy!
Really friendly staff, great creative toppings for hot dogs. Heck, I'm not even sure where else you can get a hot dog. Unassuming place. Fun, and very busy at lunch.
Hot dogs are likely not your first thought when you are hungry, but this place is really good. They don't just serve your ballpark dogs, they have tons of custom concoctions.
Went on a whim because I thought the name sounded funny. Turns out the food was quite good. Apparently my lunch partner saw a cockroach though. Despite that, I would definitely consider going back.
