Last night, I was able to cut my work day short. So, I stopped here for some food. It was burger night. But I didn't want a burger. I was seeking appetizers and finger style food. First thing that caught my eye, without hesitation, I ordered the General Tso's Egg Rolls. As I continued to check the menu and the specials I ordered the Caramel Apple Pinwheels. Both came out hot and ready to eat. I really liked the dipping sauce that came with the super stuffed eggs rolls. It had a perfect little sweet and sour spicy kick. And the pinwheels were soft and went well with the caramel sauce and whipped cream. They weren't super sweet either. They were just right. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming. Tons of smiling faces. And it actually made me decide to cut my night early. I had full intentions of going back to work for a couple of hours. I felt accomplished for once after a long journey of unnecessary mud slinging and lack of action and resolution the past 3+ years. I found this to be very interesting and odd. But I took it and went home to bed. Thank you!
Pleasantly surprised. The drinks were delish, the food was very yummy, the burger , burnt ends and general tso egg rolls( we ate them before we could get a pic) !!! OMG. Service was great, will definately go again ..
We were having a great dining experience for the most part. Had to take one star away because after we finished eating we found a piece of hair buried in our pizza crustš¤¢. I understand this can happen from time to time, but it was still alarming and a turn off.
Service was outstanding. We walked in with a group of 7 on a Saturday night without issue, though there was only outside seating at that point. It was nice on a mild summer night. The food that we tried was good. They also have a nice beer and cocktail selection.
Good restaurant and bar, phenomenal service! This restaurant is also dog friendly on the outside patio. They even have a dog menu! The standard beer flight is awesome if you enjoy craft beers.
We visited for howard county restaurant week and will certainly be back! I got the peach salad, risotto, and bourbon bread pudding. Everything was delicious and I was so excited to see multiple vegetarian options on their menu. We went mid week and it seemed busy but we still had servers checking if we needed anything
We were seated as soon as we walked in the door which is always a plus. Our server was amazing. We explained that this was our first time at this establishment and our server was gracious enough to walk through everything on the menu and describe everything to the best of her ability. She also made a few recommendations based on our preferences. We started with the charcuterie board which was pretty amazing. I got the white tavern burger - medium- and my husband for the short rib cheesestake. I barely got through my burger but that's bc the caramelized onions on the bottom of the burger was slightly off putting. My husband said it tasted fine. I'm sure it did but it was not a taste that I preferred. I also did not enjoy the tavern sauce. My husband took a bite of my food and said it tasted fine. Again must have been my taste buds. Which is fine. The fries and the house made ketchup was actually really good and I eat fries with malt vinegar so it was really good. My husbands shirt rib cheesestake was pretty amazing. I tried a bite and it really was good. I think for everything that we ordered and our server being as patient with us as possible and working with us, all total every can just under $95 and that wasn't bad for the experience that was had. I would recommend this place to others. The only reason I gave a 4 star was bc my taste was off tonight so I wasn't able to enjoy my food as much as I wanted. Otherwise great. I do look forward to going back and trying other things. Added perk they have a doggo menu!!!!!
Why for restaurant week. For one of the first times they had something for all three courses that I would order. Nice portion sizes. My only complaint was the dish was too spicy and the shrimp for so small i didn't know if they were in the dish or not. Also the Blueberry lemonade slushy was very tart. Thankfully it was still half hour so it was only $5. The zucchini fries were really good and the dessert was heaven. Saw they have a jazz brunch so I would go back to give that a try. Okay one more complaint, our waitress was a little weird. She'd come over to the table and just stand.....too close for my comfort, especially when I'm eating. I would see her coming and say we were fine and she'd still come. I don't know if she were nervous or new but back up.... Please!
