Love Love this place, we are slowly starting to make it a usual spot...the food is great, portions are big, prices are decent, crew is A++, service is quick ... I would love to give this place a 5 star, but on our last visit.. The group that was sitting behind us RUINED our meal/dining experience. The kids were screaming in my ear, they were jumping all over the place, kicking the back of my seat and the worst part, was the one kid making gagging throw up noises ...turned my stomach, the moms of course, just sat there and did not put a stop to it .. I understand being a "kid friendly" restaurant but it would have been nice if a manager or someone else would have brought it to their attention... In any case we left with a turned stomach, and a headache.. With all that said, I still highly recommend this place, and we will definitely be returning soon...
This place was in the Trip Advisor's top ten list and it did not disappoint. I would move it up to the top five. The food was a great representation of American cuisine. The ingredients were natural and not highly processed as in many other American cuisine places. The portions were just right. The decaf was the best I've had. We had the cinnamon roll French toast style combo, the double chocolate waffle, the bisquit and gravy and the salad and soup combo. All the meals were very good.
Terrible food! I asked for over medium eggs and received over easy. Homemade biscuits & gravy, nasty! Worst tasting gravy ever. Had a chemical taste. Hasbrowns cooked on the outside, still raw inside. Cooks grill is too high. I rather eat my toe jams, then come back here.
A+ for service. Very sweet gals serving, the restaurant is clean and welcoming. Food was OK. Chicken fried steak (chicken was not so fresh or appetizing), potatos missing some other veggie besides onion that was a little undercooked and underseasoned. Gravy was yummy! Crepes are missing a little extra something maybe cream cheese would be a great addition? Apple waffles were yummy. Definitely recommend and will return soon.
Wonderful food, service, and atmosphere. There is also plenty of space to park the camper while we eat.
TLDR You've gotta go! We drove from out of town just to try the famous Waffle Spot today and boy, it was worth it! The food is great, the atmosphere feels really good and family friendly. Service was wonderful and even though they looked very busy it didn't take long to get seated or for our meals to come. I really respect that they are family owned and operated. You just don't see much of that post covid. They also close on Sundays to give their employees a day of rest for worship and to spend family time. So much to love.
Best breakfast! The menu had everything anyone could want. Family atmosphere.
Stoped on our way home from Shaver Lake. We decided to try this place out, glad we did. The fish & chips, the tri tip sandwich, the omelets were excellent. I didn’t catch her name, a girl with red colored red hair and braces was our server, she did a great job.
