I had the highway ham sandwich. Delicious. Multi grain bread, mustard, Swiss cheese, smoked ham, sprouts, pickle, lettuce and red onion. Did I say delicious. The pastry selection was excellent. Service was very good.
This place was great 👍 I would absolutely recommend it... then go to Robbs Farm for some maple syrup. 🍁 it's all great 🙂 the last picture is from the ribbon family farm, Tru it all out cause it's awesome 👌
Simply outstanding! Everything was amazing, if you see something you're Interested in... buy it bc it might not be there when your return 😉 We did a sampling for lunch and returned 2 days later..... sooooo good!
This is the perfect place to go to for a delicious sandwich or goodies! I tried the Ham sandwich, the chocolate chip cookie, and the maple eclair and it did not disappoint! This country deli has an assortment of options for anyone looking for a quick bite to eat.
I've been a customer for a quarter century. I really enjoy the food, but I am very dismayed that they have cut the sizes of their desserts in half, while raising prices 10%. The cake slices are so small now that they're not worth buying anymore. To get the same size chunk they used to give you, you'll have to pay more than double the price. It's a shame because they probably have the best dessert selection in southern Vermont. I would have paid 30% more for the same size slice, but 10% more for half the size is a poor value.
An absolute gem! We got the chance to visit based on the many good reviews and we were so happy we did! We got the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw and cheese (5/5) and the vermont apple pie. You cannot go wrong with this place - the deli is welcoming and you will leave with a full belly! Note: you can sit on the picnic tables next door at the market!
We received many suggestions to visit The Vermont County Deli on our day trip to Brattleboro, and it was a perfect spot to get lunch! Though it was very busy, the line moved quickly because of their efficient process. The I-91 Italian combo that my fiancé ordered was so good, he had my jealous that I didn’t order it myself! I ordered a custom turkey sandwich for myself, and I loved that they offered Cabot cheddar. We had heard great things about their mac and cheese, and even though we had the last serving before their freshest batch came out, it was very good! Loved their selection of desserts and the quaint, country vibes. I would definitely stop here again!
