State Room is a solid spot to enjoy good food and watching a game. I've dined here a few times before with my boyfriend. He loves the beer selection here. The food is delicious and the service is great. This most recent time, the bartender was working really hard making drink after drink for her customers at the bar as well as everyone else in the restaurant. Parking can be easy to moderate - just depends on the day/time of the week. It's most street parking but there are paid garages around too.

We decided to walk up and down 4th Street on a Friday evening and pick a random place for dinner, finally choosing The State Room because it seemed to have more energy than most of its neighboring restaurants. We were easily seated without a reservation at 5:30, but by 6:00 the place was filling up. Wouldn't be a bad idea to get a reservation. It's a very lively happy hour. That's what I liked best about the State Room. It's got a great energy. I'm not really sure what the ambiance is going for…sort of a warm sports bar industrial feel with old timey style pictures. It feels a little like an ai curated Pinterest board urban chic. I actually googled to see if this is a chain. I don't think it is, but it gives off those kind of vibes We had very prompt and efficient service, except after we had finished eating and the table was cleared. I mean, the server checked in on us three times throughout the meal, but once we were ready to pack it up, he was nowhere to be seen. I'm sure this was just an anomaly, but it's a pet peeve of mine…having to sit for a long time at an empty table, then having to hunt down the server to get the bill. The food was fine. I had the Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl. Others at my table had the Fried Chicken and the Creole Special. You can certainly order a variety of food, there is no special focus. We all agreed our dishes were perfectly adequate. My recommendation is to visit The State Room with friends and hang out at the lively bar. If you're looking for a memorable meal, you might try elsewhere. Again, not bad, just nothing special.

Super cute place with good food and drinks! They have heaters on the patio which make it the perfect place to sit and enjoy the night with some friends. My only complaint is my waiter was a little curt. All the other staff I interacted with seemed very nice and friendly, except for my waiter.

Good variety on their menu. Food, drinks and service was good. Great place to hang out with friends and co-workers.

Food and service was excellent. Our waitress, Haley, recommended the Heirloom Tomato pizza which was fantastic! The garlic fries were really delicious too. Will definitely be back. All the staff was friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back.

Was looking for a dog-friendly place to grab dinner while in the area. The outdoor area here is great although a bit small, but they do have some additional table along the street. Dumplings were really good and service was very friendly. I also got the fried chicken sandwich.. I felt it was overpriced for how small the actual chicken included (half of the sandwich was just coleslaw and bread) but it was still tasty.

Love this place. You look at the menu at first and you think wow, I thought it was just burgers and beers…but no! They have amazing food, with a little bit of everything. Drinks are always good. Super consistent food and drinks. We always need to order the dumplings, so yummy. The burguer it’s also a favorite. Caesar salad with prawns also delicious.

This was genuinely one of the best experiences I've had in a restaurant. My boyfriend and I decided to try out this spot as the first restaurant we'll visit while in this country from South Africa. We were blown away by the welcoming team, pleasant atmosphere and wonderful food. Neither of us are sure anything will top the vibes quite yet. My boyfriend almost left me for the steak because it was so good lol. I felt the same way about the dumplings. Don't even get me started on the in house brewed beer! The State Room is definitely on our list of favourites now!
