Doesn't look great from the outside - but it has a modern, southern ambience inside. Depending on what time you go over the weekend, wait times could be crazy...including even the outside seating! We were lucky the last time we went - only 10 mins. Waiters/waitresses are very polite, friendly and professional. Food: Like some other reviewers have said, it is very tasty and flavorful; but it is a LOT of food - easily shared by 2 or even 3 - depending on what you get. We usually go for the omelette or benny with gritts and a side of pancakes. We get a stack of 2, but they are very thick. I can see how it could easily be over or under-cooked! Ours were perfect. Kids get 1 or 2 eggs, silver dollar pancakes and a side of sausage links or bacon. I have a couple minor observations: * My wife wanted a regular 'latte'. They said, they only have a 'vanilla' flavored and not just a regular latte. That was a bummer. * For pancakes, I just wanted regular syrup. They said, they only had 'maple' or sugar free. Strange! * This one might just be me. Their coffee mugs - are unusually thick! Nothing crazy to stop me from going there again. Reasonably priced. Lot of food options.

Recently I went with a friend/daughter She had a beef biscuit sandwich with white eggs. I had an biscuit stuffed with sausage and vegetables. And upgrade the pancakes which we share with three people, was plenty of food. My only suggestion is the menu , very complicated to understand, maybe pictures will be helpful. Tina the server was very friendly and attentive. The regular coffee A+. But my experience was excellent. The parking is small but the hospitality was big. I’ve to add that they are consistent with the quality. Last time I visit was an hour before closing and they did an outstanding job in all areas.

Very nice restaurant! My favorite breakfast place so far in a monthly brunch with a friend. Atmosphere is modern country and very elegant and spacious. Food is amazing! I would go every week if it was closer to me! Will always return and can't wait for nicer weather to seat outdoor in their patio private area! My friend and I absolutely loved this place. Super friendly staff and very neat and clean establishment. My favorite so far!

Breakfast is hands down my favorite thing to eat. I can eat it all day. (I also believe that adding eggs or pancakes to anything makes it “breakfast”. 😁) The Southern Cafe has an overwhelming menu, but there are a few things I want to try so I will return. I decided on the corned beef hash and eggs with pancakes. It was good. The server seemed too busy for us. We were a party of 5 adults, 1 preteen, and 2 toddlers. It was one of those situations when the server leaves for too long so u accumulate a list of things for her to do upon her return. Great thing is she did it all…so 🤷🏾‍♀️. All in all, I’ll be back.

This place is jam packed every time I go. Quality food, quality service with a bright and clean atmosphere is the reason why. Southern style breakfast, biscuits and gravy and their skillets are amazing. The service is fast and friendly and keeps up with the customer demand. If there is a wait, it will be worth it.

It's a nice, innovative and modern restaurant with a wonderful drink menu and home made syrup and biscuits. The shown pics are: The waffle combo, plain crapes with strawberries and the sassy chorizo skillet. This last one is a great option if you like spicy food! The service was wonderful, Elizabeth was kind and watchfully at all times, totally recommended!

The service was great! The restaurant was packed. The menu is a bit overwhelming; however, grits are the way to go with any dish! Prices are reasonable, and the portions are huge!

I went there today, Sunday, September 10th, at about 8:30 AM. Helen G was my server. She was so pleasant and asked me why my wife wasn't with me today. My poached eggs with hash browns and turkey sausage were excellent!! Hot and fast!! My double espresso was perfect, hot!! Thank you so much for the great service and excellent food!!! UPDATE: Silvia and I were there on Saturday, September 23, @7:00 AM. Our food was great; hot and tasty!! Jessica was on point with her great service and pretty smile!! THANK YOU!!
