This is some of the best barbecue I've had in a long time. I started with a cup of beef and chicken stew. It was so tasty I didn't want it to end. I then had the Texas Brisket Platter. Great smoked flavor, with just the right amount of brisket and sides. For dessert, we shared the NY style Cheesecake. Very creamy and delicious. Our party also started with nachos and had an excellent bourbon soy salmon salad. Service was super quick, so if you're hungry, you can dig right in. Highly recommend.
Shelby was funny and a super great server. She made us feel right at home and gave us some local pointers. The food was really good and the portions were generous. We will definitely be back to try more of the menu.
Went for the Happy Hour 4-6. First the service was excellent. Our server Shelby was super attentive, patient, informative and pleasant. The Happy Hour menu has alotnto choose from and the food was excellent. I would recommend highly.
Good decor and atmosphere. Service was great in the beginning but lacking after the order was taken. Despite multiple great experiences in the past, Steak and sides lacked basic seasoning. A bit more salt would go a long way. The team failed to deliver parts of the meal and if the wait staff checked in after the meals were delivered they could have fixed the issue. Not The Smokehouse that was praised of yester year.
The parking attendant started our visit off wonderful. Kind, happy and helpful. The food was delicious-butt and bones- and the onion loaf was huge and crispy but not greasy. Our server was nice and attentive. We will be back!
Awesome bbq and great prices compared to many places around this area. Had no wait around 6pm on wed. I got the bbq platter, kids got a turkey bacon sandwich on a croissant and a bowl of mac n cheese w fries. We all loved our food. Zero complaints. Cocktails reasonably priced as well and not made weak.
As an annual visitor for many years I have been coming to the Smokehouse for a long time. If you like ribs then you need to come here. These ribs are the best you will ever have! No other ribs compare. I have had ribs at other "bbq" resturants and nothing comes close. The full rack of ribs goes on forever and are so good. Indoor area is nice and large and the newly completed upstairs chimney bar adds a nice area to hang out for drinks.
The service was quick and our waiter was very polite, atmosphere was great to watch college football and have a drink. The restaurant was very clean and obviously newly built compared to others in the area. The outdoor bars are a great spot to watch any sporting event and hangout with a group. Unfortunately, the BBQ left a lot to be desired. Certainly not true Carolina-style as far as I'm concerned. I would come back for drinks and maybe some simple appetizers but if you're looking for good BBQ, look elsewhere.
