I ordered a crabmeat skillet only to on receive a skillet with imitation crab with undercooked. I also could have done with out the random piece of bacon contained in the “Crab” skillet as well (I don’t eat pork). The corn beef hash was was an unsightly dog food like mess when “fresh” is in a description one expects a actual corned beef potatoes vs the canned mess I was served. I had a take out order for 5 people and none of the eggs I ordered with cheese actually had cheese on them so much for supporting local businesses vs chains. #qualitycontrol

First time visiting this place. The menu is huge, lotsa great options and the skillet menu was large. I ordered the Special Skillet and my wife got the Hash Stack skillet which was on a specials menu. Kids got the mickey mouse pancakes. The service was really good, everyone was really nice. Food was decently priced as well. My only two "meh" was my wheat toast wasn't toasted (my son's white toasted was toasted nicely) and when it came to the skillet, the hashed browns weren't really browned well. So if you like hash browns cooked a bit more maybe ask them. Other than that everything we had was good! Definately would return again. Also side note they are offering a dozen tamales for 15$ as of 4/7/21 they have a little sign on the door!

Slow service. French toast bread was kinda stale side, and the bacon was over cooked. (Bacon not pictured, hadn't arrived yet, still burning🔥...lol) The waitress was ok, however, she wouldn't allow me to order a side of breakfast meat a la carte. I could only have pork chops or a chicken breast if I ordered an entire breakfast plate!😡 Most all breakfast restaurants will allow a customer to order a side of anything they offer. Decent lil local restaurant, however, my friend & I both agreed, it wasn't terrible, but, certainly not worth the ride for us to ever return.

Nice decor, with clean, relaxing ambiance. Consistent food with large variety on menu. Food was cold and a bit undercooked, so had to send it back for a heater. Good service.🍳

I love the food and service at Skillet House 2! Their food portions are large so you get a lot of food in your order. Their omelets have fresh ingredients and are so tasty, so are their other breakfast dishes. They are so friendly and have exceptional customer service.

I really wanted to give The Skillet House a better review. 🙁 It's quaint, cozy, the service is very good, plenty of menu options 🍽, and the prices are reasonable 💲, but the top reason for dining out is to enjoy good food and that's an area where The Skillet House fell short. On my first of three recent visits (Dec 2018) I had the flank steak and egg breakfast, with a side of pancakes and was delighted with every part of the meal. The steak was tender, juicy, and among the best I've had at other restaurants. The pancakes were also on par with the best. 🥩 🍳 🥞 👍 A return visit was in order... My second visit was disappointing. I ordered a steak omelet. The steak chunks lacked flavor and felt rubbery. Everything else was comparable to my first visit. I felt that a third visit would help form a more rounded opinion, so I gave it one more try. On my third visit I went back to my standard measuring stick, the steak and eggs. It was very good the first time, but on the second try the difference was night and day. The steak on the second visit was thin, sinewy, crispy along the edges, and dried out in general. Talk about eating shoe leather - I lived it that day. 👞 👎 I was left wondering if my steak was precooked earlier that day and dried out from sitting too long, or if was an unused holdover from the day before. On the plus side, the seasoned red potatoes are delicious and a better alternative to regular hash browns. 🥔 👍 Perhaps I'll return one day for pancakes, sausage and gravy, or some other "safe" choice, but not for anything that includes steak. 🙁

First time here, Our server Rachel was great. Very friendly and service was great coffee was always full. I had the had stack, daughters had California skillet and bacon and eggs. Everything was served hot and was very good.

It's a nice, clean, cozy breakfast place. The food was good and they offered plenty of specials.
