My wife and I have gotten our catfish and shrimp here several times. The food is always fresh and GOOD ! The customer service is always good and the food is cooked only after you place your order . THE CATFISH COMES SECOND TO NONE !!! J & J fish and Sharks CAN’T COMPARE TO THE PRODUCT THE SEAFOOD COMPANY PUT OUT !!! I’ve made the comparisons !!! Side note ….they still have good fries instead of those junk fries that a lot of fast food places are selling !!!

Food was good, but poor customer service ruined the experience. We found this place while searching for take out seafood in Crestwood. Hours advertised to 8pm, it was about 7:15pm and the reviews were great so we stopped by. Inside was as posted, modest size with a few tables. We approached the counter and said it was our first time and we asked for suggestions. The counter clerk, older short haired woman, pointed to the menu and asked for our order. Having read reviews we chose the $29 special jumbo fried shrimp. We also ordered other items including 2 lemonades. Our order totaled $104, food was prepared to order, bagged and as we prepared to leave a gentleman from the kitchen told the counter clerk she forgot to bag one of our orders. The clerk took the box and shoved it in the bag we had in our hands. No apologies. She then came around the counter followed us to the door saying loudly to no one (place was empty) it was time to wipe the tables, specifically, the one we sat at while waiting for our order. Completing the experience, she then proceeded to immediately lock the door AND turn off the lights! It was 7:47pm and they didn't close for 10 more minutes! Hearing the decisive click of the lock, just behind us, seeing the lights go out immediately, and the early closure on a Friday night completed the impression, customers are not welcome. We've supported restaurants, and small businesses throughout the pandemic, and will continue to do so, we are foodies who enjoy a good food and restaurant experiences and I was shocked to be treated so rudely by this establishment where we spent good money. No worries, we won't be back!

Note: I had already eaten half the order of catfish nuggets before taking this picture. The actual portion was huge. Delicious. The service is friendly and quick. I was a little surprised there were only two tables inside to dine at. Located off of Pulaski by Jewel. They have Cajun, lemon pepper, jerk, etc. There are also fresh baked cookies, fruit smoothies and homemade lemonade available.

My first time visiting. I came by way of Groupon Purchase, so let me start there. The Groupon gives you $20 worth of food for 2 adults - that is impossible here. The cheapest item I could find was the $13.99 Po'Boy sandwich, so I ordered that and a lemonade and still owed a balance with the voucher and this was before I could add the next items for the other adult. The portions received were good as far as fries and catfish sandwich but the sandwich was messy. Literally picked it up and it was soggy with toppings falling everywhere; equivalent to how Burger King serves it up, if you ever experienced that. Fries were good, I suggest you add seasonings or sauce, kinda bland without. Small sized lemonades, good but not worth the price being charged; especially if you can grab one less than half a block away at Sonics for same price and double the portion. Not bad of a wait time for a Friday night. Clean establishment inside and out. Friendly cashier --messed up my order twice, but he was nice about his error which i can appreciate. As far as a the Groupon, waste of money when you consider the amount I paid for the original GROUPON plus still owing because 2 adults cant eat for $20 -misleading.

Mediocre po boy sandwich , low quality/ meatless wings, oK lemonade but not fresh! A very long 20 min wait time!please save your $45 and go to a Korean fried chicken place for best options.

Ordered and was charged for 1 pound of garlic shrimp and barely got over half a pound. Food scales don’t lie. $27 for this???? Never again.

This Place is fantastic first visit I had the Shrimp delicious great seasoning on them... 2nd visit I had the Catfish filet and my Girlfriend had the Shrimp Po'Boy Sandwich delicious again the Catfish was fresh fried nice and very delicious..the Po'Boy looked so good I was jealous and my girlfriend loved it was ready to return the next day... Great service and the owner was fantastic as well... #SupportBlackOwnedBusiness

Yesterday was my first time dropping in. I picked up some takeout and could not have been more impressed. The woman behind the counter was really nice, explaining different options on the menu. Because everything is made fresh, there was a short wait. When I got home, my Po' Boy sandwich & fries were both very hot and seasoned just right. I will definitely go back.
