User Reviews

This place provides an intimate and authentic Caribbean experience! I stopped on a whim and am happy I did. I was greeted with kindness and respect immediately after walking in. Since I ordered in advance, my food was already ready and steaming hot. It smelled, looked, and tasted delicious!

I recently had the pleasure of trying the ackee and saltfish sautéed with fried plantains, rice and peas, rum cake, and cola champagne at Reggae Grill. I was not disappointed! The ackee and saltfish was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The plantains were crispy on the outside and soft and sweet on the inside. The rice and peas were flavorful and moist. The rum cake was moist and delicious, and the cola champagne was a refreshing and bubbly accompaniment. Overall, I was very impressed with the meal. The food was fresh, flavorful, and authentic. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely recommend Reggae Grill to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Jamaican dining experience.

We found a Jamaican restaurant in, of ALL places, Cayce that is as close to the Jamaican food we would get in the city as possible! The oxtails were the absolute TRUTH! The way you know it is a TRUE Jamaican chef in the kitchen is the lima beans. Unfortunately they were flat pieces instead of the normal size true Caribbeans are used to. This New Yorker is thoroughly impressed and the hubs and I will be back!

Enjoyed curry chicken, rice and peas, and collards! Delicious. And, of course, the Strawberry lemonade cake was heavenly. A small local spot that I wish I had discovered sooner!

1st time visit today for carryout lunch(odered over the phone). Ordered "Curry Goat" with collards & MacnCheese. Cashier could have been more attentive and a "Thank you" would have been nice! (She simply took my money and handed me my food! Minus 1 star for that alone). At any rate, food was good. Just enough spice. A tid bit salty. Portion size ($2 more for a large order-which is a gimmick) could have been larger. I received mostly bone & gristle...see "after" pic. Wish there was a divider in food portions...I despise when sauce gets on the macncheese. Did not receive "Roti" with my order, as advertised online. Was told its a typo and you'd have to order separate. Overall, $17 is expensive, but when you need a Jamaican-food fixed....what can U do??? Try it out for youself... Hopefully your portion is better than mine!

Good food but serving size is small. Paid 3.99 plus tax for barely nothing. Look at pictures Rice and beans same price but more of it.

Customer service was amazing, food was phenomenal!! We got the jerk chicken w rice and peas and collard greens! Definitely recommend! Partner got the oxtail fried plantains and Mac n cheese and he also enjoyed everything! It was our first time trying Jamaican food and we’ll definitely be back to try more!!

Let me be honest. If you are uncomfortable visiting the hood, this place may not be for you. Now, I personally enjoyed everything on my plate. I ordered the curry goat, greens, and rice and peas. I also got a Jamaican Beef patty. Let me say everything was fresh. Oh, they serve hard liquor, too. The servers were attentive and nice. There is a pool table area in the back with music playing. If you are getting off work and just want to eat and relax, this is it.
