Breakfast Menu "The Refuge" Melville

The Refuge is conveniently located right off the 495 in Melville. They have a beautiful outdoor patio with live band. You will enjoy your time here. The nachos taste amazing and it even has generous portions of short rib, beans, jalapeños, and cheese. Have a drink, eat some food, sit back and relax. This is an excellent place to step away from the busy city streets and simply relax.

Very nice place with really unique decor and ambiance. Food was good and yes could be a bit better… chicken and waffles was not hot.. seemed to have waited a bit more than usual to be picked up by waitier but the pizza was delicious loved the thin crust …Outside looks bc like a great night out spot it was just too hot to eat out when we were there but truly a gem of a spot😎😎

I came here for a small birthday celebration for my bestie. I enjoyed the rustic atmosphere and the staff were very friendly. The food was good but our waiter is was really made the night. He went over and above to make sure we really enjoyed our time out. His drink & food suggestions were on point and he was very accommodating. This definitely won't be my last time there!!!

BEST BABY SHOWER! They went above and beyond for us. We had the outdoor space. We are still getting compliments on the food and cake. The banquet director, Billy was amazing and so easy to work with. He accommodated everything we asked for and did little things to make me feel special (it was also my bday). The maitre d was also fantastic. I have nothing but positive feedback. Great vibes!

We were a large party and had a nice time. The appetizers are great to share. The meals were generous portions. As a group, we enjoyed ourselves.

Loved the food and the wait staff here. Such a fun, warm and unique environment. And loved my frose slushie! Can’t wait to have my rehearsal dinner here before my wedding. We’re all staying at the Melville Marriott so it’s super close and convenient for family members.

My husband and I had our Wedding at the Refuge this past Saturday. It was absolutely fantastic. We wanted to have a Brunch style wedding and what better place to have it then at one of the top brunch restaurants on long island. Billy who is the Banquet Director was unbelievable, just fantastic. His attention to detail and making sure everything was done was so reassuring. I was very worried about feeding a couple of my guest due to dietary restrictions, but Billy took care of it COMPLETELY. Another huge help was our Bridal Attendant, Trisha, she made sure we got to try a bit of everything and always kept us hydrated! She was FANTASTIC. She even packed us a huge take home container of everything we missed. Anything regarding the venue and catering I had no worries about at ALL! Not only that but I am still getting messages on how AMAZING the food was and how stuffed everyone was!!! From the Hors D'oeuvre, 4 grazing stations, and deserts everyone was rolling out of there. We got the open bar which was perfect they did our signature drinks, and everyone LOVED them. Overall, we had a total of 101 people attend the wedding. We were able to fit everyone comfortably outside of the ceremony and inside for the reception. I couldn't have asked for a better wedding. If you are looking for a place for your event make it here you will not be disappointed. Another great thing about the refuge is we can come back and try any of the food we missed and just remember the day years to come. Thank you Refuge for the perfect wedding.

Food and drinks were great! We have been here before but it has been a few years and seems like the overall atmosphere has changed. Went for a birthday dinner for a family member and the music in the dining room was so loud it was impossible to have a conversation with the people at your table. Even seemed like the servers were struggling to hear orders and had to keep leaning in. We ended up skipping desert to go home early just so we could be able to enjoy each others company a little more and be able to share a conversation.
