I so in love 😍 the original pancake 🥞 house 🏠! I do feel like the menu has changed since Covid (seems smaller- less combinations available). I couldn’t find any sides on the menu but our server was very knowledgeable, so that was fine 👌🏼 . I do wish there was a sampler plate that gave you just a 1/2 size portion of everything! It is so hard to choose between traditional breakfast 🍳 🥓 , pancake 🥞 breakfast waffle 🧇 breakfast, omelette 🥚 🧅 🫑 🌶️ etc. The omelette is huge! 💪🏻 Definitely shareable. The slab bacon 🥓 is 🔥 👨‍🍳 I had the 🥑 Benedict and I shouldn’t have- it was like warm guacamole rather than slices that were removable. Everything was prepared well, and the service was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

So this was my first time going to the Original Pancake House. When we arrived we were seated immediately and our waiter was Gamil. Gamil was a great waiter, and even though he didn't have some of the exact prices of things on the menu, he had extensive knowledge of the restaurant as an organization. After our talk, we ordered and had the pecan banana pancake phenomenal. The buttermilk pancakes were ok Toast was good. The sausage and bacon were thick cuts and were seasoned well. Also, they had chicken sausage substitute, but no turkey sausage Coffee was good and strong. The orange juice was freshly squeezed, and you could tell, but at over $5 a glass, I liked the coffee a lot better. Overall, it's not the best breakfast I've had, but I would definitely give another try.

I ordered the over easy eggs with bacon steak and fresh strawberry pancakes with orange juice. Everything tasted very fresh and I’m always impressed with how good the fruit is on the pancakes. The orange juice was the highlight as it didn’t taste like concentrate. I would definitely recommend this place for breakfast!

The Original Pancake House located in Grapevine Texas We love coming to this particular location. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We typically get the pancakes with eggs and bacon. You MUST try the fresh squeezed orange juice!

First time trying this place. We were in town with friends from out of state, so not local to the area for any of us in the party. Our orders the menu from corned beef hash, to the farm country breakfast, to strawberry pancakes, to waffles and lots of bacon. The bacon is what surprised me. It was thick cut and really good. Definitely some of the best bacon I've had at a breakfast restaurant. Not thin, like is typical at other pancake restaurants. The scrambled eggs with cheese were fluffy. The strawberry pancakes and fresh strawberries were nice together. The corned beef hash with a fried egg on top looked good and were a hit with the one in our party that ordered it. We did have a wait for a table, but it wasn't too bad. It's expected when you come to a place that is so good. The service was excellent and we got our food and anything requested in a fairly timely manner even if it was busy. Would definitely recommend for locals and anyone in the area for business or pleasure. They are only open until early afternoon, they do not have a huge lunch menu offering beyond some sandwiches, but they're a breakfast place, so that's expected.

Looking for a good breakfast place? Then you found it. The food was good, but a bit pricey. The service was friendly and overly punctual at first. There was also this Southern vibe there and the silverware was clean without any stains. However, I did feel like I was being rushed to finish eating and leave. When the waiter brought the check to the table before I asked for it, as I wasn't even halfway done with my meal. Once the check was paid. Getting their attention was like ice skating in rollerblades. Overall, this was a positive experience. Will be going back someday.

One of the best place to have pancakes!! Loved the simplicity and how satisfactory Dutch baby and blueberry pancakes were! It was just enough to make you happy full! The freshly squeezed orange juice was a cherry on the top. The servers were great and delightful! There is a huge wait time if you don’t reserve well on time. It was already flooded around 10:30 on Sunday morning. The baked pancakes do take time as well, so plan accordingly.

This was my first time eating at this location. I chose takeout, and overall my experience was really good. The syrup and pancakes work really well together, the bacon is always my favorite due to the thickness and flavor, and lastly the grits.. The grits were the only thing I wasn't so happy with. I felt they lacked flavor, so I added some butter and reheated it. Shortly after it turned really soupy. It could have been user error by adding the butter, but it didn't mess my overall enjoyment of the meal. I will be back!
