Wonderful breakfast spot in Lomita! The food was amazing, and the service was awesome. We ate out in the patio and enjoyed our delicious meals.

We've passed this place for 2 years and always wanted to try it. It was about 9am and fairly busy, especially since this a popular breakfast location. There wasn't a wait to be seated though. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. The menu varied from tons of different breakfast items as well as lunch items(sandwiches/burgers). Food came out quick, but it wasn't very hot surprisingly. The marinated steak was absolutely delicious though. Eggs were scrambled easy, just as I asked, which most people don't actually bring me scrambled easy. Server was attentive and came back several times to check on us, even though it seemed like she was the only server. Pretty pricey for two people though, it was about $30 each between us. I'd go back again for sure.

The peaches were SOOOO FRESH !!! Bacon cooked to perfection. The view on the patio is everything just the way the sun hits your skin is a great vibe. I personally wasn’t a fan of the waffle but Eric’s amazing customer service got it taken care of promptly.

Nice little cozy place service was the stand out here..food was ok my son's California sandwich was pretty dry, barely any turkey inside of it mostly all bread, avocado was black inside his sandwich, not worth 15 dlrs, fries were out standing crispy and delicious, my biscuit breakfast was good but needed more flavor so put more pepper but there was plenty of gravy, eggs cooked perfectly potato's we're under cooked..so i finished it off with some pumpkin pancakes which were good but not like"omg!" Pancakes they needed some whip cream to be put over the top.. overall the nook was ok..but not a place that made me say " this place was so good we gotta go back!" 2 meals & 2 drinks over 50 dlrs🫤

We arrived at ~9:15 AM on the Fourth of July. The restaurant was about 75-80% full when we arrived, and remained about that busy throughout our visit. We were seated promptly outdoors, which despite being on the PCH, wasn't too loud. We ordered the chili omlette with a biscut and gravy, as well as a french toast plate. Everything was delicious, albeit not super unique, and this was our exact expectation and craving! Prices were reasonable, and service was friendly and efficient. We'd definitely come back for another brunch, with the Eggs Benedict and John Wayne Special both sounding quite tasty.

Great service, food and staff! We arrived and had the choice to sit outside or inside. We chose inside. Izzy, our server was wonderful. I ordered the Ruben Sandwich and my husband ordered a cheeseburger. Both items arrived quickly and the food was tasty. The fries are thick steak fries which are nice. I will definitely return here again! Large parking lot outside. The Nook shares the same parking lot as Big Lots, 99 cents Only stores and it is right next door to COLDSTONE ice cream.

First of all, staff was on top of everything, awesome service, friendly staff and the food was great. Had the country fried steak and wow. If you are a coffee lover, coffee was good, not water down at all. I found my go to restaurant and I highly recommend it. Thank you all at Nook's. 8/15 second visit and food and service is still excellent. Highly recommend this place for an awesome meal.

First time trying this place. I had the Nook Special with Chorizo and Eggs with potatoes. It was just average to me. I expected more flavors from the eggs and chorizo, in fact it was a bit dry. The salsa help though. The breakfast potatoes was very bland. Need more flavor, salt and hot sauce. The coffee was great and service was accommodating and friendly. Not impressed but I hope to go back and try something else.
