I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Mint Room restaurant and the experience was absolutely delightful. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the delectable food. The restaurant's tasteful decor and soothing lighting created a perfect setting for a memorable evening. What made the evening even more special was the personalized touch the restaurant added to our celebration. We were there to celebrate a friend's birthday, and to our surprise, the restaurant had prepared a beautifully customized cake with 'Happy Birthday' written on it. It was a thoughtful gesture that added an extra layer of sweetness to our already delightful evening. I must commend the staff for their impeccable service. They were attentive, friendly, and ensured that every detail of our dining experience was taken care of. the Mint Room is undoubtedly a top-notch choice.
Was passing by ellicot city and was craving for Indian food . Google reviews took us to the Mint room ! First of all, the interiors were really good and the ambience was good . They had a big bar once u enter .. they don’t have much choices of tap beers or IPAs. They had some lager beers which was pretty expensive- like 13$ for a big TaJ mahal etc . Service was exceptional . There were so many going around helping customers .. hats off . We then started the buffet . Vada was a bit oily . I did t want to stuff up my stomach with samosas . Chole batura was good . Chick 65 and tandoori chick were really good . Had some biryani after that . It was ok . Coming from I am Edison NJ our taste buds want more :) but for Maryland standards the food was good . 25$ for the buffet was not bad . Wanted to give a 3 , but just for the service , I’ll rate this 4/5…. Forgot to mention - Gulab jamun was ultimate ;).

This is not only my favorite place to eat in Ellicott City, it is my favorite place to eat anywhere. If you like Indian food, this place is as good as it gets. Chicken Biryani and Tandoori Chicken are their best offerings, but they have several great dishes. We have had takeout and in-person (including buffet) many times and have never had an unpleasant experience. The food is always excellent.
Tried the weekend buffet for the first time and was pleasantly surprised with the overall experience. They had a huge variety of appetizers, entrees, desserts, and tea. All the food was fresh, hot, clean and tasty. The service is also very good, all the staff was very attentive and courteous. The overall atmosphere and ambiance is really inviting and hospitable. Will definitely be back.
Excellent food, amazing buffet and fantastic ambience!! The dessert mango pudding and chocolate mousse were fab too. Highly recommended.

I have never been to an Indian restaurant where the staff were so kind and considerate of my brother and I! The food was amazing and we loved all the vegetarian dishes.
