We enjoyed our dining experience here. We came here on a Wednesday and apparently they have half-price wine bottles on Wednesdays so we were able to enjoy a nice bottle of wine. We had the poke nachos which were delicious. The salmon was good as well and the tuna was delicious. The service is great, and the server was attentive and continually checked on us.

I have passed by this place a million times and we finally tried it for a birthday dinner celebration. First impression: we loved that street parking and lot parking was easy on a Sunday evening as it's located away from the busy Canton Street. The stone exterior and huge patio with outdoor seating is very welcoming. We were greeted and sat immediately (we had a reservation, though it was not full). Our server and his trainee were super friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and attentive. For appetizers: The blackened brie with fig and pimento cheese fritters were absolutely delicious and great for a crowd. Mains: The scallops with lobster risotto were great - but it only comes with 3 scallops, however, it sits in a large bed of risotto so it was pretty filling. The burger was classic and done well and the crusted tuna was light and fresh. Desserts: We ordered the peach cobbler and triple chocolate brownie and devoured them both! This is one of our new spots! 10/10.

Popular place in Roswell with a very nice outdoor space. Went for lunch/brunch and enjoyed the shrimp and grits and the Mill Cobb salad with salmon. They seemed to be short on waitstaff, but other than that, I'd come back again.

This was our first time to visit this wonderful little restaurant in Roswell. To be honest I was not expecting anything different from most other places, but I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is very nice. Clean and tidy throughout with wonderful wood flooring throughout that gives a nice touch. I ordered the blackened salmon dish and I was absolutely amazed at how delicious it was. Easily one of the best meals I have ever had anywhere. I will definitely be a regular here.

Great staff, very expensive location, food felt sub par compared to the pricing. However if is a farm to table location and great in that respect. Cookie tasted burnt (peanut butter and jelly) and food a tad salty (and I am not on a low salt diet and I love salt and it tasted salty). Good presentation of food. Had a garden in the back where they grew some of their food they served. Valet parking only unless you find street parking far away.

Business/ old friends lunch. Really enjoyed it. The atmosphere, the food and the service will all great. I’ll certainly be back for those yummy truffle fries and the amazing burger. Even though I ate half of it since I’m on WW!

Can’t say enough great things about the The Mill. A special shoutout to our server Alex, who was tremendously helpful, attentive, knowledgeable, and personable. His service made the dining experience at The Mill even more enjoyable. An appetizer that you absolutely must try is the pork belly lettuce wraps. This dish is the EPITOME of culinary perfection. The pork belly is cooked to perfection, with a crispy exterior and a tender, juicy center. The lettuce wraps, sliced cucumber & peanuts provide a refreshing crunch and balance to the dish, while the sauce adds a depth of flavor that will leave your taste buds craving more. Moving on to the entrees, the salmon is an absolute must-try. It is cooked to perfection, with a crispy skin and a tender, flaky center. The flavor is enhanced by the subtle seasoning and the accompanying sauce that complements the dish beautifully. The short rib is another standout dish that is sure to impress. The meat is incredibly tender and falls apart with the slightest touch of your fork. The flavors are deep and rich, with a sauce that brings out the best in the dish. When it comes to dessert, The Mill does not disappoint. The pecan pie is undoubtedly the best in Georgia, with a perfectly flaky crust and a filling that is rich, sweet, and full of pecan flavor. The banana pudding is another must-try, with a decadent filling that is creamy, smooth, and full of banana goodness. In conclusion, The Mill is a must-try restaurant in Roswell. The food is exceptional, the service is outstanding, and the overall dining experience is simply unforgettable.

Don’t be fooled by the myriad of great reviews, as those are a reflection of what The Mill used to be. I’ve been coming to this restaurant regularly and just about weekly for the past 7 years. The Mill used to be a nice, casual yet upscale place with amazing food, extremely friendly staff, excellent service, and great drinks. Unfortunately, due to recent poor management, I’m sad to say my time at this restaurant is most-likely at an end. Through the last few years, the head chef has changed several times, with the food quality varying with significant degree, yet prices have consistently increased. It seemed like they couldn’t keep a good chef to save their life. I mean really, who changes an amazingly popular recipe like their fried pimento cheese balls with bacon marmalade and decides that instead of marmalade, we should use a fake tasting “bacon snow powder…” That’s exactly what the people want, fake bacon flavor at an upscale restaurant.. Luckily the newest chef fixed this but it just shows the lack of leadership to not see this earlier. Regardless of their issues in the kitchen and management, this establishment’s saving grace has always been the heart of the people behind the bar. Their bar manager (a very tenured employee) was among the most friendly people you’ve ever met and would always take time to ask how your life was going, remembering minute details about regular customers that you would never expect. He made sure the place still felt like home through the ongoing changes and struggles elsewhere in the restaurant. Unfortunately, it appears the poor management has finally made its way to the bar, solidifying this establishment’s downfall and turning it into just yet another mediocre restaurant with an overpriced menu and stuffy atmosphere. Even the regular staff seem depressed. Given the other recent reviews displaying poor service all the way up to management, I think it’s clear this place is past its prime. For the time being, I think it’s best to skip The Mill until they fix their internal issues and get back to the kind restaurant locals used to be proud of.
