Stopped in for dinner and really enjoyed the atmosphere and cleanliness of the restaurant. The chicken in one of our dishes was really chewy and undercooked, but the waitress took the $4 upcharge for the chicken off right away. She apologized multiple times and gave us some caramel corn for the road. Her service made up for any of the food issues.

Good life is awesome! Get the chips and dips appetizer. Like the picture shows you get chips and 3 dips too. Love the cheese sauce and the guacamole is creamy and delicious. I love the burgers here too. The pretzel bun with cream sauce and bacon bits is probably my favorite. Cold drinks and great service every time.

What a wonderful place in downtown Park Rapids MN!! Would highly recommend. We had such a wonderful dinner here. We had a huge group of family and the service was top notch. The atmosphere is perfect and the food amazing. I ordered the walleye tacos and they were delicious. We were not hurried out. What a fun, memorable evening.

This was a cute place with very good food. The sweet potato fries were great. My sub was very good. Locals love this place

Stopped in here for lunch, awesome service and the food was incredible. I got the buffalo Philly, sample the peanut burger, and also the Reuben. Place is legit I cant imagine anything on the menu that’s not awesome. Great atmosphere and beer on tap. Kick a$$ place and worth every penny. Ps downtown is also super vibrant and cool lake life culture. Great people.

Loved the interior design and atmosphere. Food was fresh and unique. You can tell they care about your experience. Would recommend 10/10.

Metropolitan elegance in a small town. Stopped for a weekend lunch, upon walking into the restaurant- the set up is impressive. Loved the booths with windows makes eating feel private yet spacious. Food and drink menu features locally sourced items and house created cocktails featuring items from local and nearby distilleries. It's important to note this is a Midwestern restaurant tailoring to Midwestern taste. If your reading any bad reviews - that is a misunderstanding from the perspective of the reviewer. However our meal was beyond excellent. Fries are cooked to perfection. Food is HOT and hearty Midwest portions. Pictured is the Ruben with battered fries and the Bison Philly with sweet potatoe fries. Post dinner shopping at Molly Poppins makes this restaurant a great destination.

We stopped at The Good Life Cafe for lunch and dinner while visiting Park Rapids. We kept coming back because they had the most variety on their menu for common pub/bar foods but added alternative unique selections that were great. Their cocktail and beer/wine menu was also more diverse than what we experienced at other restaurants in the area We ordered fish and chips, gnocchi, and a salad. All came out great. Our group as a whole rated them highly. Stop by if you’re in Park Rapids (and stop next door for a cone on your way out)
