My wife and I had an exceptional anniversary dinner at The French Laundry. The service was impeccable and the food surpassed all of our expectations. Each dish was expertly prepared and the wine pairings were magnificent. The kitchen tour at the end of the meal was a highlight of the evening, giving us a behind-the-scenes look at the magic happening in the kitchen. Overall, we highly recommend The French Laundry to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience. It's no wonder this 3 Michelin Star restaurant is considered one of the best in the world. Don't miss out on the opportunity to dine here!

We were fortunate enough to get off of the waitlist after several missed attempts. It was our last night in Napa and we couldn’t have been more excited. We didn’t want to be late for our 7p res, so we asked if they could accommodate a later time. The response was “we’d be happy to welcome you at 8.” What they failed to mention was “…but you’ll wait for 40 more minutes.” The food itself was nothing to delight over. Every bite seemed more and more saturated with a multitude of flavors that it became difficult to enjoy. Sometimes simple is more and the food was overpowered with seasoning and sauces. The oysters with caviar was by far the best course, followed by dessert. With the price tag, I expected to have one of the best meals of my life but was let down. We also couldn’t fathom how a supplement for truffle mac and cheese was MORE than a supplement for wagyu steak. The $155 price tag seemed extreme. The service was impeccable which cannot go without acknowledgment. Overall it was a unique experience but would not return.

Was fortunate enough to have a group of business friends that were able to secure the Bay Laurel Table for our trip. The food was phenomenal, with every bite making you yearn for more. Such bold, impactful flavours in such a small spoon. Simply amazing. It's definitely a once in a lifetime experience everyone should try, and I'll definitely try to secure a slot for a future special event. 😊 Veronica was amazing and supper attentive, knowing how to entertain the guests. The oyster caviar dish, steamed egg and beef ribeye cap were simply mouthwatering.

Truly a unique dining experience, we went with my sister and her husband to celebrate their anniversary, and the menus were customized with their names, such a nice touch. With 13 courses throughout 3hrs, I can say that this was a special dinner and served with so much care and thought. Each dish was delicious and we were so full by the end of it. We ended with a tour of the kitchen and some French Laundry shortcake biscuits/menus to take home. Would probably be the only time we could ever go, but it was so worth the experience.

Bucket list checked. The food was exceptional especially the Oysters and Pearls. I could have eaten a gallon of that stuff. The service was great although slow compared to Vegas standards. I get it, they make all of their food from scratch without prepping so it takes 20-40 minutes between dishes, so 12 dishes stretches out the evening pretty far out. Dinner took about 3 1/2 hours. We were given a tour of the kitchen and wine cellar after dinner which was awe inspiring and one can only dream of having such a nice place to cook. Will definitely make it out there again in the future.

Finally was able to secure a reservation here and it definitely lived up to the hype. There were numerous menu items that I had never had before but they were all amazing. Each bite was an experience in itself as the flavors and textures were perfectly balanced. The presentation was beautiful and the servers explained each dish while answering any questions we had. The wine list is the most extensive I’ve seen but I was a bit surprised that our bottle was not presented to us and opened at the table - not a big deal for us but I can see some people being disappointed by that. Dessert was made up of a handful of different dishes and a box of various chocolates were presented to us afterwards. We received our menus and two tins of sugar cookies to take home and were able to tour the kitchen on our way out. You’ll need to plan ahead and be well-prepared to make a reservation as they become available for the following month on the first of the current month. Ex. September reservations become available on August 1st on Tock. You can join a waitlist if you miss out but the odds of getting a reservation that way are slim to none. Highly recommended if you can get a reservation and well worth the price tag as you get what you pay for and then some.

Food was really great. Though some dishes had too much cheese and were too heavy to my liking, I still appreciate the effort / dedication / thoughts put in to the food prep! But the service was rather disappointing - wine menu was not provided in the first place, and staff was unable to introduce the wine properly. Poured me still water when i asked for sparkling and then spilled water and wet the table cloth. We weren’t offered tea or coffee during the dessert time while all other tables were enjoying theirs. The staff came to take order of tea from a friend and turned away immediately, we had to call her 3 times in total to get all out tea orders taken. I almost felt the staff hated us for some reason I dont know 🥲

Worth a special journey…. “Life changing”..is what a friend said who joined us that evening in the private room Ultra hard to get into, not inexpensive, a bit small of a venue (maybe)…. However the overall experience makes you take stock of life’s accomplishments and makes one appreciate the value of sharing special moments at places like French Laundry with family and close friends Unforgettable experience which after all is why a person celebrates at a place like this
