Quick to become a favorite gem We’ve dined at The Farmhouse on several occasions, whether date night, couples night, or family night. Each offering has been individually notable as “that-was-worth-it” experiences. Last meal as a celebration to our daughter, we enjoyed an evening outside on the terrace high top- and wasn’t that fun for the kids. We enjoyed good apps, good drinks (cocktails & mocktails), great conversations and great mains. Fresh ceviche followed by savory shrimp fettuccine- perfectly cooked (poached?) tiger shrimp that melts in your mouth, with a clever saffron poisson sauce- and a surprise option, the tenderly-cooked duck breast with expertly roasted brussel sprouts and sweet potato purée. Voilà, merci! Pricey, though worth the extra coin. More importantly, our kids finished their meals off the kid menu- in fact, a very well cooked cut of salmon and al dente pasta- clean plate club! Thus overall, pleased with the sister restaurant of Buttercup (The Farmhouse is distinctively unique, in our view) for hitting all the checks, whether a romantic dinner, engaging couples night out, or building memorable times with the family.

Great food. Would highly recommend it. We were in Boston visiting our daughter and went there for dinner.

I had a wonderful date here and while it was a bit loud during the busiest part of the night, we never had trouble hearing each other. We split a good chicken dish and truffle fries, as well as quite possibly the best crabcake I've ever had!!! There was something about it that was magical and this restaurant is worth the visit, just to sample that crabcake!! Also, kudos to the staff, they were kind, knowledgeable and just the right kind of intrusive to add to a wonderful evening!

Wonderful dinner! Delicious food and great service. The outdoor patio dining was so pleasant & relaxing. It was a great way to celebrate my birthday with my husband. :)

I was here at a work event so need to come back again but atmosphere is great, service is solid and menu is broad/something for everyone. Typical Americana menu with steak to fish to chicken, etc but good portions and well laid out anesthetic. I'll be back

Just ok. Food wasn't great, neither were the drinks. Service was incredibly slow; felt like they say us next to the kitchen then forgot about us. 45 mins before our drinks were served. Not the best experience but not terrible either. The dessert shown was the best part and quite good in fact.

The food was good, properly made, well prepared. However, the operations and mechanics needs a lot of work. We won’t be back. Issues with the service and setting. They don’t know what they want to be. Suggest if you eating here only give the order when you want to eat then; it’s fast. - Prices are 40-50 pp if you get a drink and entree. Which is fine; however, when the pacing is similar to fast food (as soon as we put in the appetizer-5 mins later out). Entree (less then 10 mins later out). This doesn’t cut it. - Three course meal paced in less then 40 mins; no. - Ordering off a QR code, fine for a taco bar. Not for a place attempting to be fine dining meets farmhouse style. Give me a physical menu, not a right justified webpage from my smartphone with a poor font. Change your web menu, it’s hard to read.

First time at the Farmhouse. a little journey from Concord, but not a bad ride. With my wife and eldest son on a Saturday night. Very nice room, was smaller than what I imagined, but the room was quite busy, not noisy per se, but definitely energetic. We started with the arancini and olives to start. Arancini were smaller than one would find in a Sicilian restaurant, but were plentiful for the 3 of us as a shared starter. Fried risotto stuffed with cheese. Came with a marinara sauce. Very enjoyable. For dinner, my son had the Bolognese, and thought that it was very good (but he did say mine was better!), my wife had the Maine Halibut, large piece of fish, not overcooked, all the accompaniments were great. I had the Chicken Milanese, which frankly was gigantic and needed to bring a third home with me (too much for me!). It was dressed with arugula, romano, tomatoes, red onion, capers. Almost a piccata. Cocktails before dinner (is Mezcal the new goto liquor? I see it on every cocktail menu now, no matter what the cuisine. am happy with that) and a few glasses of a good French chard with dinner. No room for dessert. Will definitely come back if down that way again.
