After living in Vallejo for the past 3 years today was our first experience at the dead fish & WOW! Super cool restaurant & really good food. The salmon with the paprika sauce was absolutely delicious!!! The veggies were perfection and full of flavor. My husband had fettuccine Alfredo with crab and it was yummy!! Can’t wait to visit again!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

You can't go wrong at the Dead Fish. I have eaten here before, and im never disappointed. When I have a craving and I don't want to drive all the way to Oakland or SF, this is my favorite place to go. Fresh bread, great clam chowder, Crab enchiladas👌 order 2 so you can have leftovers. We didn't need a reservation. Inside outside dining. Great view all around. Don't miss this spot. It will become your favorite also.

I can’t believe I failed to check-in. Anyways, The Dead Fish is one for the books. I loved everything about it! The location, the vibe, and most especially the food! First of all, it is a stand alone restaurant, it has a private parking lot with plenty of disabled parking spaces (love that)! Second, it’s almost as if it is in the middle of nowhere but it’s not. This restaurant has beautiful views wherever they seat you and the service is excellent. Then we started with an appetizer, we had the Crab Crostini. This is an excellent starter, it’s like a teaser, it gives you a sample of what’s to come. The crab tasted so fresh and to top it off with those baby tomatoes and olives were a good match. Since I’m a shrimp lover, I ordered the shrimp and mussels(medium size), FYI, it does not come with anything else. But there was plenty. I ordered a side of garlic bread and OMG, I’m glad I did. It went well with what I ordered and it was garlicky and buttery good! My friend ordered from the recently demised fish section and she got the Salmon with spicy ciopino sauce. Yes, I tasted it, the salmon was cooked perfectly. It was tender and not dry at all. The sauce was the “icing on the cake.” They didn’t have a huge selection on desserts but they have something for everyone. We ordered Chocolate Moose Bomb and Salted Caramel Vanilla Crunch Cake. We ate it all! Note: it is a bit pricey so be prepared, but totally worth the experience. The view and the decor gives the place a classy vibe. I recommend this place 100 percent. Until next time.

The food and drinks were delicious. The Cioppino and Shrimp Alfredo were flavorful. Parking is a bit tricky to find and making a reservation is recommended. Definitely want to visit again to try the other things on their amusing menu.

Great pasta, steaks and seafood. Great ambience and service... Finding parking during peak times is like a treasure hunt... So... Good luck but it's worth it. Also recommend making reservations in advance.

It was my first visit, but won't be my last. Server was very nice and made recommendations. I had the crab angel hair lasagna and my friend had the Cioppino. We split a wedge salad. The salad wasn't a wedge of iceberg lettuce, it was a small head of romaine. It was a large portion, so there was plenty for both of us. The crab angel hair lasagna was tasty. It is very rich, made with real crab, cream and a lot of swiss cheese. see photo below. The Cioppino was excellent. great tomato base, clams, muscles, crab, fish and calamari. A few black olives were thrown in too, which were a tasty surprise. Next time we'll sit outside and enjoy the view.

Finally got the chance to visit this place sitting on a cliff overlooking the bridge. We had crab/salmon crostini. Garlic sautéed shrimp. Crab Alfredo and crab enchiladas. It was all good. The view was amazing. We sat outside at sunset to see the sunlight change on the bridge and their set up blocks the cold wind. We will def go back to try the WHOLE CRAB. We risked a walk in on Father’s Day and we had a very short 5 min wait. We saw a few other walk ins. I would have been fine with a 20-30 min. Wait on a busy weekend.

Expansive views of the Carquinez Bridge and Straight. Wonderful seating on their patio. Is usually an extremely busy place with consistently good sea food. The menu is a bit pricey and it's often quite loud inside. Good seating at the bar.
