Small breakfast and lunch joint in downtown Milford. Went early for brunch with some friends and was not disappointed. We split the trio french toast and I got the chicken arepa breakfast. All delicious. Recommend going early if you want to sit inside and for parking. It’s cash only.
My husband and I walked in because we had seen great reviews, and we walked out understanding why! With so many unique options on the menu, we ended up choosing the pork belly with eggs in pesto over toast and also the apple / cinnamon / raisin stuffed French toast. They were excellent along with our coffee. They were also extremely accommodating of our 2 year old. With nice touches to help parents, you could tell they understood the dynamics of dining with a toddler.
The food is good and this would be 5* but the way they make u pay is ridiculous. If your paying by credit card you scan a menu and keep adding things into your cart and pay online. Meanwhile the person still has to come and take your order. A few tables were not happy about this process including me. Otherwise very cute place but that left a bad taste in everyone’s mouth. Pay cash if you go it takes the apple cart process out of the equation.
My gf and I went to brunch here on Sunday - our second time visiting. Like our first visit, the food was great, our server was friendly and helpful. We sat outside and it was a good vibe. Definitely check out The Corner Restaurant when you’re in Milford!
Food was outstanding and the service was friendly and attentive. We sat outside, which was lovely. Thought it was cash only, but the waitress asked if we wanted to use the app to order and pay with a credit card.
Came in around Noon on a Saturday. It was cold outside, so seating was only available inside. The restaurant was full, but we didn’t have to wait long to be seated. Food is packed with an array of flavors! We went savory AND sweet, and split it between the two of us. The staff were very friendly, and ambiance is homey. Definitely coming back!
While planning my vacation to Connecticut and looking for a place for breakfast, their menu offerings made it a place I must try. I was so happy that I did. Their South Indian spiced pulled duck was absolutely amazing. It was quite savory and phenomenal. It was so good I had to have it one more time before heading back home.
Cash only (or pay via online qr code) Food is excellent and it's a very fun atmosphere. Outdoor seating available when weather permits and you can BYOB. They have some great juices that would mix fantastic with bubbles.
