Very pretty smoky moody type of decor which we found very cozy. The restaurant has been around a long time and the food is quite good but the salads leave a little to be desired. The bloody Mary was spicy so if you like a spicy one definitely order it. the lobster bisque was excellent
Looking for a restaurant on Long Island since we are from Florida and red the glowing reviews. Went with our kids, my brother-in-law, and our daughter-in-law's mother who are all New Yorkers. We were seated in the bar area in front of the dining room. I started with Blue Point Oysters on the half shell, very good. My wife ordered the soup du jour, Mushroom soup, just fair. For mains, my wife tried the Short Rib Quesadilla which she thought was ok. Being a duck fan and in Long Island, how could you not ordered the Seared Long Island Duck Breast, roasted black grapes, Brussel sprouts & pancetta, sweet potato puree, black grape & balsamic jus. Unfortunately i was disappointed.
Awesome food and excellent service! You can't go wrong with this place, make sure you order the pork chops and the baked clams!
One of my favorite restaurants to go to, can be casual or fancy depends on your mood! Food is exceptional and prices are so good, restaurant should be in the city!
I have been going here forever, great atmosphere, great food. For local, I would recommend not ordering your dinner to go from here, opt to eat at restaurant. Often mistakes made, (we’re human) but more than that a bit rude on phone service.
Beautiful atmosphere and great food as well as an excellent service. I will definitely revisit.
Amazing food. Cooked perfectly... Paige was a fantastic server. Lovely decor .. and a helluva Manhattan too!!
Cozy, romantic atmosphere with upscale, American food. Great appetizer and small plate selection. The chicken parmesan special is generally the best around, but the last few times it was a little disappointing. They seem to have cracked at that though and it's back on par. The hanger steak and Coq au Vin is very good. Prices are in the mid-to-high range.
